I asked what a bbq burger is and he threw one on the counter. Here you go he said. It was wrapped up so i could not tell what it was. Told him 3 times until he understood. Then I ordered a pulled pork. 5$. Tast like McDonald’s. As he’s putting picks on he coughing over the condiments. Won’t be coming back any time soon

Stopped in and tried the 1/2 ribs with coleslaw and BBQ beans. I was kinda thrown off when they got the ribs out and had to warm them up. Coleslaw is a vinegar slaw baked beans are good Not a bad place especially better than the normal food places in truck stops. Paid $15 with a large drink I will be back to try again but wasn’t blown away by it.

None of the food was fresh. Give you a cheeseburger without melted cheese and tell you that it may melt, knowing the patty wasn’t warm enough. I felt like why build a business just to provide bad food and service. Could be much better.

Tried the place out… Saturday, 2/15, afternoon after 1:00. Staff not present – except one person eating in the dining area. Guess they were on break. Once staff came around from convenience store side to take our order, it seemed nothing was ready. By their own admission, staff didn’t know how to prepare menu items nor what was in them. Took entirely too long to prepare items ordered – others in our party of 5 were finished eating before the last couple even had their food. Register was not operational to pay for food – had to go to main convenience store register to pay. Food was mediocre, at best. Too bad… I realize it’s new… But they’ve been open long enough to get past these kinds of issues, and from the looks of the place, it could be so much better.

The only thing good was the beans. Employee didn’t know what was on the nachos. Didn’t know they had baked potatoes. Had no idea if the Cole slaw was creamy or vinegar based. Meat was barely warm. On a Saturday they should have people working who know the menu, know what ingredients come in the food, can operate the cash register.

Went on a Saturday. Employees don’t know much of anything about the place they are working. Train your employees. Meat was luke warm at best when they “just made it”. Took 25 minutes to get food. Beans were the only thing good. Don’t recommend.

Food was better than expected on the truck stop and filling station class of food service. Hayley is the most pleasant person I have encountered in any service position this week west of the indiana state line.
