Was a little skeptical at first. There was a party of 40 that was expected so the staff was a little on edge. The waitress told us that because of the wait, she wasn’t going to give us menus. A second waitress came and brought menus shortly after. We lucked out because the large party was late, so we were able to get orders in and served in a timely manner. The food was decent. Brisket was good. The ribs were a little dry but not horrible. All in all, it was a pleasant experience for our first time. Would go back again.

First time ever eating here and it didn’t disappoint. There is something for everyone. I neglected to snap a picture of the fried green beans, but also recommend.

Been wanting to try this place out for a bit. My fiance picked up takeout and the staff did not impress. The fries are cold and soggy. The mushroom swiss burger was missing the onion tanglers. This is over a $17 burger and fries and its the size of a rally burger that tastes like it was cooked on a grill that needs cleaned. Its supposed to be a brioche bun. Its not. First try and last. Not the worst I’ve had. But topping the list for overpriced with 0 regard for quality. I’m also glad I ordered medium well to be safe, because the burger was cooked medium rare.

Decided to come here because they advertise a “Texas” brisket. The food wasn’t bad at all. The brisket could have been a tad bit more juicy. But it had good flavor. The sides were perfectly seasoned and the wait staff was prompt and attentive. Definitely a second time in the near future.

Smokey Bones has revived itself in Indiana by re-opening a restaurant in the same building it vacated over a decade ago. When you walk into the restaurant you are immediately welcomed by the aromas associated with campfires and bbqs which not only get your mind and appetite set for a good meal but relaxes you. The food was good but a bit pricey for an open table/floor dining room reminiscent of a cafeteria style restaurant. The concrete floor, open eating area and high vaulted ceiling make for a noisy restaurant, especially when other patrons are being self-involved and rude by screaming and singing happy Birthday 3 times. Fortunately, the restaurant was not playing music or at least it wasn’t loud. The service was excellent. The wait staff, while having assigned tables, also assisted each other by ensuring drink refills were taken care of and stopping by tables to clear dishes. Overall, the experience was good and will probably make this place a stop when nothing else sounds good.

Service was great Houston took great care of us. The food was beyond what I expected. We ordered the bbq nachos, burger, Mac n cheese, quarter chicken mild and garlic park wings and everything was amazing you have to try this place!

Service was great. Ordered the pick two plus one fav. Ribs were very moist, not the best I’ve had and a little pricey but they were good. Pulled chicken was moist and tasty. Bake beans and corn were really good and flavorful. Best part was the apple cobbler with ice cream. The dessert was simply delicious.

The atmosphere was A1 and so was my waitress. It was me and 2 members of my family and whilst we enjoyed the woman whom worked last Saturday(Hey Lady!) Because she cares about the customers , the cook not so much. The meals could’ve been seasoned better and not miss ingredients; it wasn’t that busy. However, I’ll check it out again and have faith it’ll be a5 stars for food next time. Oh yeah, the alcohol drinks were delicious!

First time eating here and loved it. The atmosphere is very nice and clean. The staff is very efficient and our server was extremely friendly and available to us, regularly asking us if we were doing well. Pricing for 2 adults ordering pulled pork platter with 2 sides each, and 2 sweet teas (our server, Cheryl makes the best southern sweet tea), our total came to $45 (not including our tip). We would come back, and will keep in mind for a group gathering with friends.
