I knew this franchise from another place, that I had visited in Virginia. So I knew what to expect, and definitely I wanted to get a big tasty piece of meat. I wanted and I got it. Had terrific delicious full rack of Baby Back Ribs, served with 2 sides. Took fries and steamed broccoli. And it’s true that ribs are so tender, that the pork literally falls off the bone!

Below are menu pics and food pics. The three of us came in for lunch on a Sunday and it was already off to a rough start once we came in. Plenty of spaces to sit, asked for a booth was brought to a table, asked for a booth again and was told “I don’t know if the waiter will want to take your table.” Umm, what? So I pointed to one of many open booths and walked to closest one and was told well we’re going to put this couple there (couple who walked in after us). Eventually got seated. Waiter was very nice I don’t know what the issue was there. Now, on to the food, I had the build your own burger and wedges, loved the wedges, they’re dusted with a Smokey sweet seasoning, the burger wasn’t great though. It had a meatloaf l/ frozen meat texture, very disappointing. Friend also got burger and wedges she didn’t like the seasoning and the waiter was nice enough to bring fries instead. I also had Mac and cheese which I assume was made for a child, the portion was fine but the dis itself looked gross and tasted the same. Other friend had the ribs and wings which she said were very very tender but the plate overall was obnoxiously salty. We didn’t get to go boxes. Overall it was just decent nothing to praise over.

I love the grilled cheese brisket with the sauce. It is really good. And our waiter is amazing and we will come back because of him. Every time I come here I get great waiters/waitresses. But the food was atrocious the past 2 times. I tried to give a second chance but when this second time was bad. I noticed that all the cooks were wanting to do was to come and hang out at the bar and talk. This is fine. But I expect a halfway decent meal if I’m paying $21 for a sandwich and 7 fries. I even counted. We got 7 fries and they were all burnt. I’m mad. But will probably come back just out of habit.

Our table had everything from the rib platter to shrimp and grits to the wings and theee little pigs sandwich. Everything was pretty great except our friend’s sons wings werent quite cooked. We sent them back. The server was not very knowledgeable about the menu and even asked me if my meal came with a side.
