I just ate here with my family. There were 15 of us. The worst thing was the service. I’m a server myself and a good rule of thumb is that when you have a large party, either assign it to one strong server or two average servers. We got one weak server, Aaliyah. She was a nice young lady and she had a positive attitude. However she was very disorganized and seemed to not have much experience waiting on large parties. She would take a long time between coming back to the table. We were not given any silverware until we already had our food for about 5-10 minutes. No one was given a refill proactively. All of the wings were given to us with no blue cheese or ranch. She didn’t even ask which one we wanted while taking the order. While we were trying to ask for condiments, refills, napkins, etc, she would only get 2-3 peoples request at one time. If you’re a strong server and are good at organizing, you ask the entire table for their needs at once, then retrieve everything at once. This makes for the customers getting everything they need quickly and makes your job easier so that you don’t have to keep running back and forth. Thank God for the young lady who was helping her run the food. I wish I knew her name because she truly saved the day and had we had her as a server from the beginning I’m sure we would’ve had a better experience. She was quick and organized how a good server should be. My family and I wanted to order some more drinks and to go meals, but the original server was so slow and disorganized that we didn’t even bother. For the food, it was average at best. They were out of brisket, which 3 of my family members wanted to order. The star of the show were the smoked wings BUT they’re “not allowed” to toss them, so the wing sauce comes on the side, which takes away from the experience of eating wings. Literally all of the other food from the pulled pork, to the nachos, to the burgers were very average. One of the pictures I provided was the pork belly appetizer, which sounds really good in the description, but was extremely disappointing. The “Asian salad” was literally some sliced cucumber and red onions. The pork belly was just stuck on some skewers with a light drizzle of bbq sauce. What a joke. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice but it was hot inside and the floors were extremely slippery, to the point that it was an obvious safety hazard. Overall, i wouldn’t recommend coming with a large party. The smoked wings are good, but that’s about it and you’re better off getting them to go.

Came in for lunch on a weekday and there was no line no wait. Gabby was my server and she was a sweetheart very attentive to my needs. I ordered a burger (the one with the pulled pork and fried pickle) it was pretty good cooked medium well, a nice portion size as i only ate half and took the other to go along with a side of fries which were hot and extra crispy the way i like them and extra side of baked beans which were my favorite they were sweet and savory and they cook them with meat. The drink i ordered was just peachy it was strong but i can’t say it tasted like peach so it was just ok to me. Overall i had a nice experience here and would come back to try some of their other items.

It was our first time at Smokey Bones and we truly enjoyed every moment from start to finish. My husband was seated while I was in the restroom but our server Makhaylah saw me and walked me over to our table. She answered all of our questions about the menu and the food did not disappoint! It was hot and seasoned perfectly. Makhaylah made sure all of our needs were met and periodically checked in on us even when it was getting busy. The atmosphere, food, and customer service were all 5 stars!

Randomly Bold And Beautiful
Me and my family of 4 stop by to grab a bite to eat the three off us got the shrimp and grits and my daughter got the Korean pop. The food was good very good actually and the peach tea was delicious I like that a lot. Now my was nice but the others was looking at me crazy because I ask for a table with chairs instead of a booth because me and my sister would be more comfortable instead of the booth it would have been a tight spot if we sat in a booth so I said please can us big girls get a table then that’s where the staring at us came in but I digress, they didn’t have no silverware for us to eat with what day did have plastic utensils which was fine by us, when we finish eating and I’ll server came by our table to bring us the check it took forever to come and this when I got a little bit upset because seem like she was the only one serving guess on the side that we was on like she didn’t have no one to help her and again she was nice but it took to long for us to check out. My sister left a 7.00 tip so did I. What I don’t like when a restaurant tries to tell you what to leave for a tip on the receipt that really turn me from coming back when I come back in Conyers to visit again. What that been said just for services alone I don’t know if I want to return we will see what happens in the future. This is what I do I go to different restaurants or hotels and give my opinion and my experience.

Ok here goes my honest review. This place has so much potential. I’m not sure if it’s lacking because of poor management or just simply being under staffed. I watched a man sit at the bar and beg for service, only to be told by a waitress” I’m not working the bar.” He finally gets a drink from the bartender and tries to order food and she responds with well it’s going to be a while because they are really backed up in the kitchen. Why would you try and make him not want to order food? Isn’t that the reason for coming into a restaurant? I felt bad for him. As for my visit. The service was slow and I am glad we had a $10 off coupon you get for signing up for emails on their website because that was the best thing about this place. We ordered a bonfire with all the meats and it was so dried out we couldn’t even enjoy it. Now the meats had good flavor and they seemed to be good cuts of meat, they were just cooked entirely too long. So like I said this place has potential beautiful restaurant, huge bar, big menu, good location, but just horrible service and lacking the actual happiness of wanting to work there as an employee.

1st time there and it definitely won’t be my last! For starters I got fried pickels that were amazing I don’t even eat fried pickels. Then I ordered a long Island. I’d give that a 3 out of 10 because it taste like captain Morgan was in it. So i got a burbon tropical punch that was much better. Ribs and the sides were really good hot and tender.

It was my first time here and I came with my boyfriend. The food was pretty good it came out a little slow but we weren’t in a rush and didn’t mind waiting. I’m really writing this review for the server! Her name was Olivia and she was so nice and fast and fun to talk to. She had the perfect balance of checking on us and leaving us be which I appreciated bc it was obviously busy and we were there for a while.
