Service is excellent. The smoke meats is a 6 out of 10. Did not like the coleslaw. The flavor was off for me. As for the baked beans I like mine baked not cooked on the stove. Over all the restaurant is a good place to eat. Better than most. I will eat there again to try something new. I rathered like the place. The French fries was good next time I’ll get them with pulled pork and cheese over them.

Why are you reading this when you need to get up and go on and eat at Smokey’s? Fantastic food, great staff and food that will fill you up and give ya that warm feeling when ya leave. The different flavors of sauces that they give you at the table, that is in house by the way, are mouth watering. I love the Barbecue Mustard that they have! The pulled pork sandwiches come “naked” and you put what ever sauce you want on them from the table. As little or as much as you like. Why are you still reading, GO!!!!!

Food was good, service was excellent. The event room we were at had a bad smell and the water spot by the bathroom door was not pleasant. The ribs were fantastic, the chicken was overcooked, the fried green tomatoes were the best.

Good place to eat at a decent price, especially if you live near by. Fried green tomatoes and corn nuggets are the go to choices. Check them out next time you’re around. Make sure you get ranch for the fried tomatoes. You can thank me later.

Dear Joe – When you state you have the best brisket in Dothan, you maybe correct. I’m not one who walks into a Man’s house and disrespects him. But, you’ve set the bar really high. When it come to brisket I’m as honest as the day is long. Yours needs some work. I travel a lot and while a trip to Austin may not be practical, a two hour drive south will get you a sandwich that when you bite into it, if you close your eyes you’ll think your in Texas.
