Great service but food was just “meh”… I got the brisket and green beans, my husband got brisket, green beans,creamed corn, and sausage. Creamed corn tasted like a Mac n cheese mashup. Greanbeans were well seasoned. Idk, I mean it was decent food… But I had BBQ at a restaurant downtown just yesterday and it was WAY better. I personally think this place is overrated. Fantastic service, the food came out quick, and the restaurant has a clean and comfy atmosphere.

We chose Smokey Mo’s from its reviews online while visiting San Antonio. We were not disappointed. The meat plates and sauce were outstanding. The food was well-prepared (as would be expected in Texas). The sauce has a well-balanced flavor. We will definitely be back.

I’ve had a lot of BBQ and this wasn’t it to be honest the service and everything is great but the food I never found great.. one of my friends got food poisoning from a salad here though it was a year ago so maybe that isn’t a problem still, but still. But if you like it and want some affordable BBQ and you don’t want too drive far away this is a fine place!

Had an opportunity to stop real fast and grab some breakfast tacos this mornings, a fella named Daniel roped me in to trying some bbq after I have been on a no bbq kick and man have things changed at. My favorite meat is sliced brisket. I was excited to try Smokey Mo’s, but was disappointed to receive pieces of sliced blubber. I did not complain or request a better portion. The smoked turkey was good, the sausage was good, and the ribs were excellent. I liked the creamed corn side, which is somewhat unique. The brownie was a nice finish.

The ease of ordering on line was amazing. Also, once order was placed I received a time of when my food would be available. I went to the drive-through for pick up, and the attendant was super friendly and quick.

We had a great experience for dinner. The counter host was very helpful and provided meat samples to help us decide. We had the triple meat plate- pork loin, brisket, and turkey. All were good size portions, moist & tasty. Bread was on the side with pickles, onions, and peppers in a salad bar layout. Beans and coleslaw also very good, portion sizes average. Overall well above average.

I really enjoy the brisket potato the only thing that I think is a bit ridiculous when you want just a little extra brisket potato they don’t really have a way to do that in the system so they charge you for a quarter pound of brisket so it jumps the cost from $8 plus all the way up to almost $17.
