We enjoyed our first trip to Smokey Oaks Tavern. The pulled pork on the tots was amazing! The burgers were really good too but the ranch on the side for my fries was like the best ranch I’ve had! We will definitely be back to try more menu items.

First time getting fish and chips post covid. Price for fish and chips went up to $20. 41. The fish was delicious but the pieces were so small. The chips were barely browned and like tasted freezer. Couple tablespoons of coleslaw. The tarter sauce was ample and delicious. Historically, I get a box for leftovers or can always share with a friend. Today, off to purchase a second lunch. We shared and we’re both still hungry. NEVER AGAIN ORDERING FISH HERE. Way to expensive for what I got.

The Tavern feels welcoming when we first walk in. The menu has such good variety and every dish we have ordered is excellent — in presentation and taste. The service is very friendly and efficient. Whether we order a little or a lot, the quality is consistent and tastes fresh. The Butternut squash salad is unique and delicious.

Family tavern in Fair Oaks…nice selections on the menu,…one of my favorites here is the Fish and chips here. Fried perfectly and fish is very fresh. They also serve an interesting smoked egg salad sandwich. Hearty portions and delicious fare. Nice bar & dining area. Good place to stop for a nice dine in experience or to take home dinner when you don’t feel like cooking.

Too bad the service is terrible. The food wasn’t horrible, but the service… AND BEWARE! they will charge your card whatever tip they feel appropriate. I was charged an extra $20 on my bill, but I never left a $20 tip. The server would’ve been lucky to get a $5 tip. They added an extra 20% which they assume would be gratuity, but being rushed through my meal and bringing wrong drinks doesn’t warrant that great of a tip. I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you plan on paying in cash only, that way they can’t arbitrarily charge your card extra.

Stopped by for a drink and an appetizer and was really impressed by this place. Very nice dining room and bar with super friendly staff. The beer selection was varied with something for everyone. Mixed drinks were also great. Only had an appetizer but the SOT Tots were fantastic. We’ll definitely be back again.
