Really good spicy cheese curds. The heat builds up as you eat these. The pulled pork mac n cheese is delicious. My husband had the pulled pork horseshoe – he said it was fantastic. The white cheese on the horseshoe is awesome.

We visited for the first time as a place to eat prior to comedy show. We sat in the bar and service was very slow. We remained patient and decided to play the “On” jukebox via touch tunes. They instantly shut it off canceling our paid songs stating that they don’t play it until after 9pm due to older people in the dining room. We voiced our opinion on this matter. Mind you, we were in the BAR area. Food… catfish was salty, only one piece but still good. The ribeye was terrible!! Ordered 12oz and probably only was able to eat 3 oz due to rest being pure fat. We explained to same “friendly “ bartender as she then only slammed down a $5 bill stating it was for the jukebox and told us to forget about our bill. We always pay our “legit”bill. We left the $5 and a $20 to pay for the drinks and the catfish. We were then hackled by a drunken female customer on her way out. Very unprofessional place and can tell they don’t like outsiders. We left there so displeased that we did not even attend the comedy show due to total mood killer.

Best cheese curds I have ever had! So spicy and so cheesy! Drinks and food were delicious. We took our horseshoes to go and even by the time we got home, everything was still hot and not soggy at all. Will definitely be back for more cheese curds! They’re so good!

Just ordered to beef horse shoes. The fries were soggy the bread was just a plain piece of white bread no butter nothing. The hamburger was overcooked and no flavor. This is very disappointing since the first horse shoe I ever had in Emden Illinois was excellent as it had the best grade meat the bread was Texas toast and the fries were crispy. I really hope someone really see this and changes the way its made.

For a small place, this place is big on flavor and customers service! Stopped in over a year ago and had wings for lunch. The wings were the BEST wings! I couldn’t stop thinking about them. Happened to be in town this week and figured I would sample the wings again, in case it was a fluke the first time. Smokeys owner said he was closing but would get me am order of Garlic Parmesan Rub Smoked Wings. Wow!! Even BETTER than I remembered. I am in love with the wings and according to other patrons in the bar, everything is just as good. I can’t wait to get back to Mason City with my husband and enjoy some more wings and maybe I’ll sample more from the menu. Greet food! Great service! Don’t miss out when your in Mason City!
