Their mac and cheese has zero flavor. Legit kraft mac and cheese from the box is better. We got the meat sampler, mac and cheese, baked beans, and potato salad. I did enjoy their sauces, but overall, i wasn’t very excited about what i ate. Just not my cup of tea.

This is a hidden gem in Davenport IA. This little BBQ joint shares the space with a golf course club house. Don’t let that deceive you. The smells and bbq is fabulous. It rivals Jack Stack in Kansas City and Rudy’s. We had the sampler platter. This could have been shared for 2 or 3 persons.

Incredible restaurant and somehow even more incredible caterer! From our first tasting to the day of the wedding Rick was so nice and helpful. He was always available for whatever questions we had and seemed genuinely happy to help. We’ve gotten a lot of compliments on our wedding but the number one compliment we get is how great the food was. All the leftovers were packed up and ready the next day for us to take home from the restaurant and they even made sure to give us a couple of bottles of sauce. Not to mention the price!! Other caterers we looked at were almost double what we were charged here and definitely for less tasty food! We will never stop singing the praises of Smokin’ Butt. Thank you for helping make our wedding great!

Stopped by to day and ordered half rack of ribs with potato salad & Mac and cheese. Was a little disappointed in the To-go side size however the Ribs made up for it. Very moist and tender. It did not need any BBQ sauce to go with it. I did try the Sweet N Heat sauce, 100% recommended. It is not spicy and just perfected the ribs.

Absolutely perfect catering experience. We had many comments at our wedding about how personable and friendly the staff was. Rick was excellent to work with and is very knowledgeable and down to earth. Every dish we had was delicious and fresh from the fruit, to the cheesy bread, and of course the brisket. Can’t recommend enough!
