We got to the restaurant before the the dinner rush, it’s was great not having to wait. We ordered two appetizers, the highly recommended Bubba Que wings (smoked) and deep fried pickles. The wings were good but didn’t get to try the pickle. Family said it was delish. My entree I got the pulled pork sandwich, I wish there was more meat in the sandwich because the bread was thick compared to the meat portion, just wasn’t enough. Green bean was good, tender and crunchy. I also ordered an extra side of sweet potatoes fries. These were so good, the cut and the right amount of fry time made the fries not over fried and soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Service was good.

The two people in our group that ordered the fish would not want to give a very good rating. The fish was undercooked and had to be thrown out. The waitress did a nice job of replacing the fish but it messed up the cohesiveness of our meal. The rest of us that ordered some sort of meat faired better. The baked beans were delicious! The waitress didn’t do a very good job of coming back to our table and keeping our water glasses full. Perhaps the soccer game that was on tv and had the employees captivated was a little too much for them to handle it all. We had four adults and three teenagers in our group. They automatically added an 18% gratuity on our bill. Too bad for the waitress because we tip 20%.

I can’t pass up BBQ and this place had great reviews so we stopped in. So glad we did, it was fantastic. I had the buffalo ribs and the brisket. With the add on cost over the two meat two side platter, it was a bit expensive, but it ended up being the protein course for three meals for me, so the value was there. I had not had Buffalo ribs before and I highly recommend them. This place knows how to smoke too. You could taste the smoke in every bite, but it was not overwhelming, the meat flavor came through. My wife had the catfish sandwich. Check out the picture, it was huge piece of fish. Thick, cooked just perfect and juicy as can be. Service was great, lots of beer choices (not a wine place) and a very lively atmosphere.

Excellent bbq. Loved the pork ribs and pork BBQ. Very good brisket. Bison ribs were OK and somewhat of a disappointment for $10 surcharge. Highly recommended overall.

Hands down the best onion rings and cornbread we’ve ever had. The pulled pork and brisket were amazing. The pork was like “butta”…..melted in your mouth ❤️❤️!!! If we could, we would give 10 stars! If we visit Colorado again, Smokin’ Dave’s will be one of our first stops. (From Ohio)

The food might have been better if we didn’t have to take ours to go. However, while sitting outside and waiting for our drinks and apps to come out it started to downpour and the less than pleasant hostesses explained we sat outside at our own risk and would not be able to get a seat inside without going to the end of the list (again, we had already ordered our drinks and apps).

AMAZING!! What an unexpected surprise!!! Husband ordered the meal with 2 meats–brisket and ribs and baked beans and cole slaw! I ordered the blackened catfish sandwich with green beans as a side! WOW! I never expected it to be this good! I’m from Arkansas originally and have tasted Memphis BBQ, Missouri BBQ etc and this was really good!!

Being from Kansas City, Missouri, this is a must try. Definitely caught me off guard with the Texas pepper brisket, but it was very good. Pulled pork and brisket wrap was a score! Cole slaw and pretty much all sides. Ohhh and don’t forget the bread pudding!
