I was traveling across country with my sister and found this place. I can’t say enough about how good it was. The brisket, sauce, potato salad and slaw was wonderful! The owner was so nice and pleasant, she kept coming out on the patio to grab your drinks for refills and check on you. The place is small but clean and a great place to take a break from driving. The town of Post, Texas has a gem in this place! Now I just need to figure out a way to have more of this shipped to me!

Driving through town and needed to stretch our legs and get something not fast food. We took a chance on local BBQ and it was so amazingly worth it!! Service was friendly and awesome. And the BBQ was even better!! So good!!

Stopped here randomly during a road trip to Austin. I’m from CO, and wow I was pleased with how good it was. We were in TX two weeks and this is was too place to eat!! Love the vibe and the friendly atmosphere

We were passing through from Austin heading back to Santa Fe, NM & had to grab BBQ before we left TX. I grabbed a brisket sandwich & coleslaw and my wife grabbed brisket mac & cheese. Very yummy! A mother & daughter running this little cute place.

My mom and I came here while waiting for our truck to be fixed after breaking down in Post. We had eaten shortly before, so we only got 2 sodas and hung out on the Patio. The owners/workers made a point to continuously check on us and ask us if we wanted refills. I appreciate how sweet and caring they were, even though we didn’t get food.

Let me start off by saying Shelly and her husband are the nicest people! Searched along our route from Ruidoso to Abilene and found this precious little gem! We ordered the brisket, turkey and a fully loaded baked potato with sausage. All the items were so delicious. I can’t say enough good things about this place! Even the Arnold Palmer was so good!

Found this place driving through Post. Glad we stopped! BBQ was Fire! And they are very friendly people. They live next door and have lived in post their whole lives and are very knowledgeable of the town and history. Try the Brisket, pulled pork, and ribs plate with Mac n cheese and tater salad.
