My family and I were driving through this small town on our way to our next destination during our two week road trip. We decided to try a local place for dinner and were taken back by how friendly the people were. The service was excellent and the food was some of the best bbq I’ve ever had. I’ll forever remember the potato salad. Howard saw our children sitting at the table and brought them snacks and drinks to go along with their meals. Someone in the restaurant gave each of my children $5 for being so well behaved. Such a sweet experience!

I have deliveries here often and had to come in to try it myself, it always smells amazing. Went with my family, there was a pricing discrepancy regarding two sides being free when that wasn’t the case, ended up being charged for one, i do feel that should have not been charged at all for sides when we ordered them based on being a part of the meal, but we are human and mistakes happen. The meal was quite amazing, i couldn’t have cooked it better myself. It has a very home like feeling, the cook even came out and chatted with us and made sure it was good, i thought that was pretty awesome. Our waitress was very nice, very prompt our food came out rather fast, always refilled our drinks when they were getting low. I’ll come back again 🙂

Wanted some good food while stopping through the Lexington area. Chenise took great care of me and Molly, the owner, sat down to chat while I was waiting on my takeout meal. Pulled pork waffle fries were LEGIT and make sure to save room for a piece of Miss Charles Eta’s chocolate pie!!

I ordered the Pulled Pork Waffle Fries with a side of coleslaw which were amazing! The owner made sure my hair wouldn’t get messed up in the rain! Loved the staff. This place made you feel like family!

I can’t say enough about this place. We had the best waitress, Keashia ( I’m sure the spelling is incorrect). Food was delicious!! Howard (the owner) came out and talked to us. Found out it was my birthday and got the whole place to sing to me, plus he insisted that he and I do a shot of tequila.

Pretty meh. Looking for good casual food traveling thru the area and we don’t need fancy but pretty much everything was average or below. We sat in the empty front room with a waitress rolling silverware while a noisy toddler was allowed to run wild. Brisket special was average/ok. Famous greens (kale) were bland. Fries were fries. Nothing great going on here based on our experience.

Was in the mood for BBQ and saw a picture of online of the Pulled Pork Wafflefries Appetizer. Had to go all out and try them. It was great! Also got the Pulled Pork Sandwhich and Mac and Cheese. Good place and even better eats!
