The burgers were really good and super big, had the bacon wrapped chicken, and it was good. I had the jalapeño brats, too. All really good. Had to cook them at a Father hennepin state park campsite. Had the lunch speacial, and it really melted in my mouth.

This place is outstanding not only for the meat and food selection, but also for the service and expertise of the owners and staff. They readily got us info on some ingredients we needed to know about for an allergy, which is not always common in less populated areas. I happen to know they also support and serve local causes as well like Take a Vet Fishing. You can tell they care about others and about what they do. Go out of your way to make this a must-stop place and you won’t regret it!

Sticks, brats, and burger patties are awesome! The lunch specials have been hit and miss. I ordered 2 pulled beef sandwiches to go and both were cold and expensive at $10 each. I could have had a full lunch pretty much anywhere on the east side of the lake for the same price, so will definitely be skipping the lunches there.

Took a different route home avoiding highway 169 on a busy weekend. Found this. Great surprise. Have only tried the pulled pork sandwich, but wow! Good smoke, great sauce. Picked up some brats that I try from home. Will be stopping again.
