The food is good. They don’t have sliced brisket. They shred theirs so you get more meat and less fat is their reasoning. The chicken and the mashed potatoes are our favorite there.

We always drove by and finally decided to stop in. It definitely did not disappoint! The loaded Mac was and the brisket was super tender and juicy. We will be back!

I went last night and I can’t stop thinking about the mashed potatoes and brisket I ordered. There was so much flavor and it came with good portion sizes so you weren’t left wanting. I also loved the garlic fries. I’d been debating trying this place for some time because bbq can be hit and miss for me but this place was a big win.

I love this place, unfortunately they are never open during “regular business hours” and we’ve found you can’t reliably go there for food when you want. It’s kind of a “luck of the draw” if they are open when you want. They are nice people when you are there though, just not reliable.

As an avid, big boned, BBQ lover, and safe driver. I will never eat at this restaurant. I encountered a Smokin Roadside Grill truck driving aggressively on the freeway. Tailgating and forcing cars out of the way. Shooting across five lanes of traffic without a signal.

Smokin Roadside Grill has delicious food! My favorite is their Mac and Cheese with pork. So yummy! My grandkids like their chicken and the pork. My husband loved everything that I brought home for dinner. He was impressed with their corn and mashed potatoes.

We stopped by in Salem for a late lunch and were welcomed as soon as we entered. We tried their chicken and brisket and enjoyed both! I liked my chicken sandwich better than the chicken sandwich at another popular bbq restaurant. I also liked how kind and helpful everyone was. It’s fun to have a new restaurant option in town!

Not my first choice, but I was pleasantly surprised. Homestyle grilled and American made 🙂 my family smokes meat a lot, so I have high expectations, and I was not disappointed. Appreciated the owner’s recommendations, both when I was told they were out of coleslaw (so I’ll have to go back to try it) and when I expressed my love of chicken. The chicken was very light and moist, the vegetables fresh and crisp 🙂 also pictured is a dish I did not try, but apparently was delicious because only two minutes after he picked it up, it was mostly gobbled down (the baked Mac n cheese). Plan to go back again 🙂

Dearest Holy Lord baby Jesus, please thank your heavenly father for guiding me to this delicious new establishment in Salem, Utah- right next to my favorite gourmet flavored caffeine depot (The Fizz). I ordered the smoked chicken & a side of their highly recommended corn, and YEP- you guessed it- I got the MEAT SWEATS – IN THE BEST WAY EVER! Delicious is an under-statement. If you’re a smoked meat / BBQ aficionado that needs a break and wants to “make a gourmet dinner” like Mrs. Doubtfire did… order up at this amazing place. Maybe support your local businesses, or just follow your inner-tasty cravings and try this wonder place out.

We were really anxious to try this place. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Ordered 3 ribs, pulled brisket (they wouldn’t give us sliced) and a side of macaroni since they didn’t have potato salad — all for $18. Every dish was cold. The ribs flavor was nice but didn’t make up for the toughness; parts were even too tough to chew. The brisket was not served with any sauce (we ordered it to-go) — dry, dry, dry. The Mac & cheese was over cooked and had no cheese flavor whatsoever. Ugh! Hopefully things will improve after they have been opened a while. No where to go but up they say.
