Everything about our experience here was great. The food was great the service was great everything was just great. Would definitely recommend coming here they have some really good ribs and brisket Mac and cheese was good and the sauces were all, well, great! Need to try more BBQ here in St. Louis so to be able to compare. Good beginning though and we will see what we see while we’re here! We got a free meat sampler for only $23 and decided to get double ribs in the brisket. Came with a couple sides which we got the mac and cheese which was great with some of the Carolina mustard sauce on it. Also got the fried okra which was unbelievable, you have to go here just to get fried okra if you get anything! Did not get too many photos of the food because of the fingers and all being a little messy but the brisket is underneath the pile of ribs there and a decent amount of it. The ribs were clean off the bone also. They’re hot sauce was the best if you ask me. Oh yeah the lil buttered toasted bread they give us delicious as well.

My wife took me here for some bbq and I had the ribs while she had the brisket. Gotta say, it was delicious! The ribs were done to perfection! The meat came right off the bone and the flavour was amazing! We had it to takeout, but the decor in the restaurant was awesome and the owner and server were very friendly and welcoming! I highly recommended!

I had ordered the 3 meat combo dinner. The ribs were tender and favorable. The chicken was very dry. The pork brisket had no smoke flavor. The sides were just okay. The mac and cheese was bland. The potato salad was decent. The garlic toast was delicious!

I love the atmosphere of the place. The service was excellent. The smoked meats were good, the okra was excellent but the Mac and cheese was mediocre. I thought it was boxed Mac and cheese. I would definitely eat there again if I’m in the area but would try a different side.

I don’t know if I caught them on a bad day or what. This is the first time I’ve ate here. The chicken and ribs and brisket had no flavor and were very dry. The baked beans tasted like they were poured out of a busches baked bean can and heated up, the corn was just not good and dry, the Mac n cheese tasted like buttered noodles, and the garlic bread was a piece of toast barely sat on a grill because it had no char marks or anything like others photos and I’m confused on why it’s called garlic bread when there is no garlic, it should be called toast. I was highly disappointed but I gave it a two because the gentleman working the lobby area was very nice and sweet.

Good place good service. I had the 3 meat combo, brisket ( better brisket then alot of other places) ribs( nice tug of the bone good smoke ring not a ton of flavor) chicken breast and wing( juicy not a alot of flavor though)

This is one of my all time favorite places for food. We drove 40 minutes to get food (to go) for my birthday dinner. We purchased 2 of the 3 meat combo (lasted throughout the weekend). Ordered a mix of brisket (x2), pulled pork, turkey, pork steak, & chicken. The food was fantastic (as always)! The grilled bread is one of my favorites. When we want smoked bbq, this is where we go, especially when we lived in South City, we ordered Smoking Barrels at least 2-3 times a month. The staff that took our order, he was very nice, but the staff are always nice.

I ordered the sausage dinner plate with baked beans and mac and cheese. It also came with a couple pieces of garlic bread. Very good portion of food for the price of $14. Everything tasted great. My wife got the brisket with the same sides and my son got the chicken fingers with fries. We all agreed that our food was delicious. I don’t think there was a bite left. Beer prices were reasonable as well. I’ll definitely be going back.

I was wanting some BBQ and goggle what restaurant was closest. Smoking barrel came up so I tried it. Umm I probably willing not come back. I order the rib 6 bone dinner with baked potato and salad. Ribs were just ok no flavor I had to add salt just to eat it, baked potatoe and salad was ok. Season you meat and smoke it , it’s a BBQ spot PEOPLE!!!!! Also no utensils or napkins to eat with.
