The quintessential Wisconsin supper club experience. If you’re looking for a place with fantastic steaks & a vibe that takes you back to the 50’s, this is it. They are fancy & elegant where they need to be, and unapologetic for where they are not. Absolutely love this place, it’s a great dining experience for your out of town relatives & friends. My own personal pro tip: order the hash browns & get them well-done/extra crispy. You’ll be glad you did.

This supper club has been a staple in Madison for more than 65 years. Alas, it is closing at the end of February 2022. If you hurry, there might still be a reservation or two available. We walked in and sat at the bar. Wonderful Korbel old fashioned with olives. So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, good bye.

An institution that will be missed come March 2022. Not much has changed. The meat was still excellent and cooked perfectly. The hash browns for the table are absolutely worth a few extra dollars. Definitely worth going.one last time.

We should have stayed at the bar. Drinks were fantastic, employees were wonderful. After being seated our meal was very disappointing. Both steaks were supposed to be medium rare, they were very well done. We sent them back. Ordered steak and scallops for almost $50, very small steak, about 6 bites, with 2 scallops. Sprig of parsley was put on plate to take up room. Hash browns were under cooked and bland.
