Come expecting to pay! Authentic British pub and eatery with cobbled brick flooring, tin ceilings, lantern style lighting and barrel topped high tables. Full bar, outdoor seating and classic British food. We arrived at lunchtime, just as they opened, and soon discovered we were the Sunday lunch crowd. Only one other couple came and went in over a hour we were there. I believe one of the reasons is that they offer no lunch menu. No quick, simple menu of sandwiches, soups and salads. One is expected to order off of their dinner menu and don’t expect to share as that comes at an additional charge of $6! My wife ordered the pork chop dinner and I ordered the soup of the day. The tomato soup was lukewarm, but creamy and delicious. My wife received her side salad and proceeded to eat that. Her pork chop came with the choice of two sides and she picked a baked potato and coleslaw. Standard baked potato with sour cream and butter. I did try the coleslaw and found that mediocre at best. While eating my soup, I did try some of her pork chop and potato, as she did not expect to be eating a full dinner at lunch. At this time, the waitress approached and placed another clean plate on the table informing us, “I didn’t know you would be a sharing a meal.” I guess it costs $6 for a clean plate? I did not use the extra clean plate and when asked about the additional charge told it was for the food preparation and delivery. Which I received neither of. I do give the food three stars for the soup, which was flavorful, and the pork chop tendered and lightly seasoned. Service was acceptable. Also, noted on my check two additional svc charges of $2.59! So, paying for our meal and soup, a meal and a soda from the couple that was with us the cost came to nearly $75! Leave with a full stomach but an empty wallet.

Food was tasty, had an issue with the kabob but it was resolved quickly and easily. Smugglers sub, Spicy lamb kabob Salad and French dip. All were good. They were short staffed but server was friendly and attentive.

Our meal was tasty but there were deluvery delays in all parts of our meal. So steak was suppose to be medium rare but came out well. Flavorful but done beyond our request.

I’ve driven by this restaurant numerous times and we FINALLY stopped in. It’s hard to tell from the outside, that it’s an Irish pub but, one step inside and it makes you feel like you are in Ireland. It was much more than I expected it to be. I did think it was much more expensive than it should be and the menu says there’s a $6 cost to share. I find that outrageous!

The food here was good. The service was slow and the place seemed very tired. Their club sandwich was really good and the fish and chips were decent. The star was the mushy peas that came with the fish and chips.

First visit since it was Saltwater Creek. Soup came and it looked like trouble – a small cup only 2/3 full- overpriced and not even crackers or bread! Then things changed! The Brie appetizer came and was delicious- as was my Irish stew in a hearty bread bowl with good authentic chips ! Not sure what’s going on with the soup but everything else was great and reasonably priced. Will go back again

The food was OK but the food that i had was not good. the service was not the best I waited for over an hour and I never got my chips. Also they did not have some things that people in my group ordered. Also you can easy tell that are short staffed. Also they said one of their chefs was not their and this is why I rate it a one.

At 930 pm. Music level was just right to hold a normal dinner conversation. Staff was happy and attentive. Greens were crisp. We ordered the steak and ale pie with kabobs and sausage rolls. The food came out pretty quick. The quality was Supreme. Presentation was top notch . The owner was present and very attentive to the customers. I would recommend coming here as either dinner spot or hang out.

The steak in my meal called the Prince William was amazing. It cut like butter and tasted amazingly.

Best fish and chips I have ever had. You could actually taste the fish. Most battered fish I have had is just eating mostly batter. This was not like that. It was lightly crusted and fried perfectly. 10/10. First time trying mashed peas and I loved them. Great atmosphere and service which is hard to come by anymore. Met the owner and asked me how my meal was. Glad to eat somewhere where people actually care.
