Great BBQ, moist but not wet, and rich with smoky flavor that’s not overdone! Sides are tasty and desserts are delicious. The people, though, are what make this place special. Always friendly, helpful, and welcoming! These ladies know their Que and all the fixin’s to go with it. It’s a local place so don’t expect cushy seats and the latest decor; you go for the food and friendliness.

I use to have a territory I worked a job back in 2011 and discovered them once by accident. I couldn’t find a place to eat and then there they were. It was a nice surprise, usually the hole in the wall places are either really good or not. They were really good and prices were good too. I’ve only been there once but I took a business card because I had every intention of going back. I still plan to. More than once. I think it says something that it was good enough that I still remember it enough to google it and rate them 5 years later.

Great home cooked food. The BBQ is wonderful! You can not ask for friendlier service. One of our most favorite places to eat. Veggies are good to and don’t forget dessert.

Food is tasty but the facilities leave a lot to be desired. The dining room has bugs everywhere and the restrooms are pretty awful. This is basically a BBQ experience you would expect from 50 years ago in a VERY rural area. It seems to not have kept up with the area’s progress.

This place looks like it would not be good. BUT guess what?! It’s AMAZING! They have really great BBQ and apple sticks. Everything is is a different room. Which is pretty cool. The people who work here are super friendly. Bring Cash.

Absolutely amazing food following a personal food of mine – the less fancy on the outside, the better the food! If I had room left over for desert I’m sure it would have been great. Service was outstanding and extremely polite.

On I40 coming through Advance or Mocksville? Jump the heck off and get some GREAT BBQ! exit 174 or 180, 2 miles up HWY158 … 5 minutes tops … Great food, i am not a fan of NC BBQ but this is delicious. even more than that, it is the atmosphere. Little house cooking good BBQ, park your hurry up life and enjoy a relaxing moment of a simpler time.

Manager was really rude awful service bathrooms were very disgusting had pee on the floor worst restaurant i have ever went to in my life. Dead rats all around the dumpster.
