There seemed to be some confusion with our waitress, we had never been there before and didn’t know there were no menus and she didn’t seem to know how to explain what options we had. Once we managed to order and get the food, it tasted amazing. The lady that served us at the counter was super polite and offered up extra helpings of each item. Best grits I’ve ever had.

The place has been renamed, it’s now Lilley’s cafe. Great chicken, the mac-n-cheese is off the chain. For a cafeteria style reastraunt this was delicious. Price was very reasonable, service is good. Parking is out front on street hard to see because it needs restriping.

My husband and I had lunch here while passing through on a Sunday. It was an hour before closing and all you can eat items didn’t look so advertising and I decided to order off the menu. My husband had the buffet items which he felt were subpar. Two of the items appeared to not have been stirred for hours. I normally leave reviews on Trip Advisor but they had a sign encouraging feedback here on Google. The burger I had was average and the fries were beyond greasy. I saw a lot of good revires and had assumed the not so good food and service was a result of us coming too close to closing. Upon leaving, we did notice they had an 83 health score. The person that waited on us was not very friendly. We are well traveled and know good food and service from not so good food and service.

I know there isn’t much to choose from in Lumpkin GA. But I urge you to keep right on driving, no matter how hungry you may be. This is a cute little restaurant and I had high hopes. But my hopes were dashed. Hubby and both sons ordered snooky’s burgers. Greasy and incredibly bland. I ordered Philly cheese. Even covered in mayo with a plastic like cheese substance the meat was beyond bland. No flavor to anything. The homemade fries were limp and soggy. The only thing halfway decent was my daughter’s hotdog. Our bill was over $35 and we had water to drink. Save yourself money and a tummy ache… Drive a little further to AL and get a decent meal.

This place is not very good at all!!!! We came in to try a new restaurant that we read about on facebook. My aunt and father have now gotten sick from it and all the food had no taste. Im glad I decided not to try anything on the menu. Good luck to the ones that are brave enough to eat here.
