After a fun day at Cade’s Cove, we were super hungry and needed a place to eat. The Snoring Bear was close by, so we thought, “Why not give it a shot?” But when we walked in, we noticed the restaurant was pretty small, and the seating area had a mix of different chairs and tables, which didn’t leave much space.

This little place has a wonderful selection. Serves breakfast all day (except pancakes). Service was wonderful. Tracy answered all our questions and knew all about the menu, and I can’t say enough about how good the food was. Everything is made fresh to order. If you like to support local when you travel, like I do, you MUST stop here. Be sure to get a piece of homemade cheese cake to enjoy there or later. Large piece. I had to enjoy later… I had forgotten to take pics before we started eating.. lol

Friendly and fast service! Lots of menu choices. I enjoyed a BLT plus egg sandwich, coleslaw and coffee. I was able to eat outside at one of their many picnic tables. Good prices.

My family really likes this place. We’ve been there several times as it’s right down the road from our favorite local campground. Family friendly. We took 4 of our grandbabies (ages 9 and under)this last time and they all got something they loved. Right on the river with indoor/outdoor seating. We will be forever customers.
