I been wanting to try this place for awhile but I’m disappointed. I ordered ribs greens and beans. $18 to go. When I got home I was so dissatisfied. One tiny scoop of everything, literally 3 bites of the sides and 2 little ribs. The food was not what I expected. I love supporting small businesses but this was a disappointment. Side note there was two young kids working there at the time of my visit. Proud of them for having a job but you have to hold it down and keep a good name for this business. I’ll try again.

There Food was so delicious, the best fish I have had here in Arizona, I moved from Michigan where they have great soul food and it is hard to find here in Arizona and the sides which were the cabbage and Mac and cheese was very good, the cabbage was seasoned very well and the fish was so tasty and not soggy or too crispy, it was perfect! I will be ordering again, I want to try there greens and the banana pudding was delicious also, the fish was very delicious

Sooooo….they opened a new location in Glendale, AFTER scamming people out of their money for the location on 67th ave and Indian School. Jacoby lured people there stating he was trying to find a partner to do a ‘ghost kitchen’, when HE WAS NOT THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR LEASING. They did this to AT LEAST 3 people, and when confronted about it on FB, they told the people to ‘take them to court.’ WHAT??? It’s hard enough for someone to step out on faith and start a business, only to run into #SCAMARTISTS like Jacoby and his wife. They have 9 kids but take away from a SINGLE MOM. DONT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. LEAVE PHOENIX IF YOU ARE GOING TO SCAM PEOPLE OUT OF THERE MONEY. WE ARE POSTING ABOUT YOUR INTEGRITY EVERY WHERE WE SEE YOUR NAME ON THE INTERNET.

Found this gem by pure luck. Knowing authentic soul food from living in the south, I knew this place was legit when the smell of fried chick, bbq ribs hits you in the face down the road. I followed my nose to this place and order “Aunties Fried Chicken with cabbage as a side.” The chicken was perfectly seasoned and fried with the right amount of crunch, juiciness, and flavor. The cabbage was perfect with a little bit tang and sweetness to the palate. I’ll be definitely coming back for the bbq ribs for sure. Also the owner was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Absolutely amazing. Took a little bit of searching to find the place but well WELL worth the search. Talked to the owner while ordering. As nice as can be. The food is better than I could’ve imagined. The owner was super nice while I waited for my food. And I was not disappointed at all by the amazing catfish sandwich. Found my new lunch spot for the foreseeable future.

I got the So full box and got max and cheese as a side. The food was not of quality. The mac and cheese has a absolutely no flavor and neither did the the Pulled chicken. The edges of the corn bread were burnt. I had really high hopes but I will not be returning.
