This place has consistently good burgers and fries. The restaurant needs help outside of the kitchen to earn a much better rating. Some things to consider: To raise the ambiance, soft music of any kind would help. Lighting needs a dimmer switch for evening meal time. Booths would be excellent to have. Floor could use carpet to shield the cold tile and echo. If ambiance was improved, this place would earn a better rating, since the food is great. I hope to see this place survive, since the fixes it needs are potentially easy to do.

We went a couple of weeks ago because it was the only place open with WiFi, but I was really impressed! The burger was amazing, the fries were good, and our adorable waiter, Austin, talked us into some amazing cookie ice cream sundae thing that was to die for! The decor is boring, the food is not!

I just couldn’t believe how amazing it was. From the time we walked in the door till the time we left it was just incredible. The waiter that we had was polite, he knew the menu, and was very well mannered. We never been into a restaurant that had a waiter like that. We ordered a appetizer, which by the way was amazing, next came the entree. Just the appetizer itself gave you an experience that would keep you coming back. Then the entree came to the table, the presentation of the burger and fries on that plate was amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned wonderfully. The burger is cooked to order and the fries are hand cut. Just the burger and fries alone took me back home to mommas cooking. The egg that was on the burger was seasoned right, which that in itself gave me an impression that we have culinary chef on our hands. An average person can’t just cook like that, I love to cook and eat, but couldn’t put it on a plate like that. Now as full and we was, we decided to try the desert, and just like the rest of the food we devoured earlier on, the desert was amazing. Now I’m just an average person giving an honest review. I told the waiter, ” If you keep making food like this and keep that same attitude and attention to detail that you gave me and my wife tonight, I’ll be a loyal customer for life.” Walking through that door was one of the best experiences we have ever had going into a restaurant.it doesn’t matter how good your food is, if the service doesn’t match the food, in this case it hit out if the ball park, just that first impression makes a word of difference. Thank you again for the experience and we look forward coming again. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Looking forward to seeing in the future. Keep the food and service great and you will do amazing. Thanks again.

Went to SoBo Burger for lunch the day they opened. Outstanding burgers! The lunch crowd was wall-to-wall! The staff handled the rush w. grace & dignity. Where did ALL THESE PEOPLE eat lunch last week? We’ll be back!
