The food was delicious. The front of the house doesn’t seem to run well. There was a single server and she isn’t trained well. However ,the decor was open and bright, the server was friendly though can stand some more training, and the food was good. I just moved to Augusta so was hoping to find a great vegan restaurant. I spent $40.00 for lunch , walked in but was confused on seating. Do I sit down I order? Parking was great. My review Good,Bad,Ugly but mostly Good. Will be back.

As a person of Trinidadian heritage, I was so happy to find out about this restaurant. While it may be a new and exotic flavor offering to some, it’s a comforting taste of home to others. The food quality and flavors are great!! The ambiance of the restaurant and service are always on point, especially with the reggae and soca tunes playing. Try everything but absolutely try the doubles with chutney, buss up shot roti with curry potato, callaloo and coconut rice, and when they have it….the sweet bread is top notch. It’s veteran-owned, woman-owned and Caribbean-owned . Make haste. Go eat!!

As an aspiring chef from Los Angeles who’s tried every vegan option in Augusta when visiting, Soca is hands down the yummiest and cleanest (in terms of ingredients) restaurant in town. A breath of fresh air, and fresh food. Truly a gem and a must-try, whether you’re vegan or not. The phoulorie appetizer, potato salad, carrot rice, coleslaw, and just about everything else we ordered on the menu was incredibly delicious and clearly made with a whole lot of love — an important ingredient for me when dining out. I am already looking forward to my next visit and will be bringing the whole family with.

Passing through after a cruise (Carnival – Sunshine) so I was hungry for authentic vegan eats. Delicious mushroom rice, pigeon peas, stewed okra, and sauté veggies. Discount coupon found for $2 off $15 per Pin Point Savings App. New looking and very clean location. Carribean Delight – Ginger Beer was refreshing.

This is some of the best food we’ve ordered out in a long time! Super tasty and feeling, everybody loved it including the kids. I recommend calling your order in, although it is not easy to navigate the menu on the first round. I stopped in to place an order and was surprised that it was going to take as long as it did, so I wouldn’t treat this like fast food by any means. Highly recommend it, but definitely phone in your order in advance! The green pigeon peas are a must.

Soca was a nice atmosphere. The staff are very pleasant. The food was good it was my first time trying Vegan Trinidadian food. If you’re wanting something besides chickpeas or beans and rice I would suggest the Callaloo soup. It has very unique flavors with a savory bite. The atmosphere and cleanliness is worth the visit. Great job Soca ✨

Okay, lots to say about Soca. The hours are not accurate. They are changing them because of staffing issues. Call before you go. Regardless, my friends and I were very excited to eat at a new vegan restaurant in Augusta. Once we arrived we were a bit confused if we should sit or order at the counter. This seemed to be a common problem with other customers as well (a simple sign could fix this). Our waitress seemed a bit untrained and impatient. Among other things, she gave the wrong drink and said “sorry this is all you’ll get. We’re out of the one you ordered”. I was surprised at this since all the reviews say the opposite. One couple walked in and sat down for 20 minutes and were not spoken to. Not even greeted! They ended up walking out the door. When our food arrived, it was cold. Thankfully they did heat it up when asked. The portions were kinda small for the price. The best thing Soca has going for it is the flavor, presentation and vibes.
