We went for happy hour. $5 cocktails & $4 glass of house wine with a great selection of happy hour apps. We had the fried okra & peel n eat shrimp and woo woo’s! The food was phenomenal. We sat at the bar but there also is a cute outdoor patio where they often have live music. Service was a bit slow – but I guess comfort food shouldn’t be rushed, right? It took a bit before the bartender realized we wanted to order some food & another drink. Overall a good experience – lots of items on the menu that look tempting & it’s close to home. I recommend – just don’t be in a hurry:)

Stopped in today for lunch.. Service was fast and friendly. Restaurant is very clean. I ordered the chicken tender basket that comes with fries and a couple extra sides (Mac n cheese & mashed potatoes). The chicken tenders and fries came out hot and were Very good. The Mac n cheese came out Dry and cold, mashed potatoes were cold as well. Overall I had a good experience and I will return at some point

Been going to SoCo Grille since it opened. The food has been a hit or miss, went for lunch once and the bread for my sandwich was so crumbly and inedible, service is decent. There’s definitely been a decline in portion sizes. Ordered to go tonight, called in and said large/dinner sized shrimp and grits…according to the online menu lunch size is $14 and dinner size is $24…it was delicious, but damn!! Didn’t even fill a normal sized bowl. Will post pics if I can figure out how ♀️

Nice atmosphere and food , great food and drink happy hour from 4 to 6, good service from Alyssa , enjoyed the crab dip appetizer although it was expensive, had the southern blt , very good , with fried tomatoes, and wheat bread, baked mac and cheese was awesome! i will try to make it before 6 next time for happy hour, 5 stars for the best happy hour and atmosphere in the York area, thank you!

SOCO is great. We enjoy the Georgetown location, and this was our first visit to the York location. We were not disappointed. Our dinners were tasty, reasonably priced, and you can’t beat the craft beer selection, nor the Happy Hour pricing.

My husband and I have given this place three tries and we won’t be back. Tonight was by far the worst. We ordered egg rolls for a starter and I asked for the jam but it was never delivered and they didn’t taste like the first time we had them. The side of fries with our meals were literally soaking wet in grease and discolored from it. The food and service all around was poor. It sucks to spend $60 trying to enjoy a night of no cooking and it go down the drain.

Absolutely delicious and great atmosphere and service. The food is fresh, you can taste the ingredients and the dish without either over powering the other. Tonight we had Fried Green Tomatoes, Grilled Shrimp Tacos and Meatloaf with potatoes and squash casserole.
