It was our first visit to Socos & we were pleasantly surprised. It is a small restaurant, but the food and service were excellent. We had a group of four & one of our party had to send their blackened grouper sandwich back. It was so chewy that it couldn’t even be cut with a knife. The waitress was so nice and brought out another grouper sandwich that was perfect and deducted it from our bill. Those kind of things happen occasionally & because of the way it was handled and the rest of our food being way above average, we definitely will be returning. The desserts are phenomenal & we heard the chef does “specials” on Fridays, but it is reservations only. It’s definitely worth trying this restaurant, you will never meet a nicer family who run the restaurant. Highly recommend.

The absolute best fresh club sandwich I’ve ever had! Fresh sliced ham and turkey breast and crispy bacon! Real cheese, fresh lettuce, sweet tomatoes and even rye toast! Perfection! The French fries are perfect and crispy!! I’m telling everyone! I can’t wait to eat there again!

Had lunch there for first time today. Recently saw a picture on FB of their club sandwich. It looked fantastic and when we went today to get it, it didn’t disappoint! Best toasted bread and the ham and the Turkey and bacon was packed! My wife doesn’t like bacon out as most places don’t know how to cook it but this bacon was spot on. Crispy and great flavor. Excellent excellent sammich! Place is very nice. We used to eat there when it was Dans Clam Stand and looks about the same. Clean and spotless. We started with an order of awesome seasoned fried okra and it was perfect too. An excellent ranch dressing came with it. Just great food and an outstanding waitress made it all the better. Lots on the menu. Burger is next for us. We will be back!!!

Good eats indeed! We stopped for lunch. I ordered the cheeseburger & fries; my Greyhound wingman tried the cheese grits. He gives two paws up for the grits. My burger was cooked to my preference and tasty. The fries were really good, and the beans were excellent Our server was friendly and attentive. No complaints from us

I just had lunch with my son and I had to shake the hand of the chef who prepared the food. Hands down best place to eat in citrus county. Their menu offers a variety of tasty home made farm fresh recipes. Cooked to perfection and plated with love. Some thing different and delicious. If you haven’t been you must try.

This place has it all. It’s a quaint clean restaurant, the service is quick & efficient, the owners are hard-working & friendly, and the food is delicious & reasonably priced. We’ve been to Socos House of Eats three times since they recently opened and each time the food has been absolutely perfect and with nice size portions. The salad is fresh and the meat and chicken is prepared as requested and oh so flavorful. A recent lunch we both ordered the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich made with shaved rib eye and it’s hands-down the best steak sandwich you’ll find in Citrus County and the surrounding area! Highly recommend you give this new gem a try!!

Celebrating a new breakfast location opening in Citrus County and Homosassa area. Truly a farm to table restaurant with great coffee and reasonable prices. We were treated to a visit from several personable staff servers. It’s always nice to feel like family. Loved the down-home southern feel! I’m looking forward to a revisit.

I only wish we had found it sooner! We stayed in homosassa for a week and my only complaint was not trying Soco until our last day. Sally, the owner, is so sweet and took such care of our large group with kids. The menu items seem like the basic breakfast stop – biscuits and gravy, hash browns, eggs and pancakes etc – but each and every one of the items we ordered was plate licking delicious! I had a vegetarian protein wrap, normally I struggle to find vegetarian foods that taste good but this was INCREDIBLE! Our kid who’s a normally very picky eater finished his biscuits and gravy without a peep! We’ll be coming back!!!

05/2022 This new veteran owned diner is really great. Sally’s hospitality is amazing. The prices are extremely reasonable. I tried the chef’s special and it was so delicious. We will visit this diner regularly. It’s small, clean and full of Southern charm. Thank you for the great experience.
