I’ve eaten Sodam happily many times throughout the years and although the quality has varied, overall it was pretty consistently good. Today I ordered the kimchi chigae and it was absolutely horrid. The beef was all fat. Every single piece. There was one small triangle of sausage and 2 small pieces of tofu. Essentially this was all cabbage, onions, and low quality beef. Very yucky and disappointing dinner.

This place has the best Korean food! For anyone who likes spicy food this is the place. All the dishes we tried were delicious. You also get a small set of appetizers for free. Also the staff at this place are amazing! We went during a busy time but they were friendly, kind and accommodating. Definitely coming back again.

One of the 3 most visited Korean places that we go to, is this one. Love their banchan (free mini appetizers), soups/ broth dishes. Appetizers/ Main dishes both vegetarian and non vegetarian are all super delicious, healthy, perfectly spicy even mild or no spice options are easily available. Shareable portion sizes for a couple or more people. Food is always consistently delicious and fresh and I always want to go back for more!!!! Fridays and Saturdays are busy so be ready to wait during dinner hours!!
