Went here for dinner on a random Wednesday night and were able to order right when we walked in but the place was steady busy the entire time we were there. It took a little bit to get our food but once we did it was delicious. We ordered the empanadas, the papusa plate, and the arepa with plantains. It was all so good! Our favorite salsas were the cilantro lime and the Peruvian. The BlackBerry Aqua was also delicious! We will definitely be back. Just bummed they are not open at all on the weekends – always want to combine them for a dinner and a movie on a Saturday!

We kept seeing Sofrito Latin Innovation Kitchen when headed to Harris Teeter. We finally stopped in, and we’re so happy we did. I had the Papusas, my husband had Bistek y Tostones. We were extremely happy with both!! The Papusas exploded a wonderful flavor on the first bite. My husband loved his meal equally well.

Service and atmosphere were great! But the food was even better . My husband and I are visiting the area from Las Vegas, and we found this gem on the map. I tried the beef and tostones that reminded me of Miami ( a fusion of cultures and flavors). My husband got the bandeja paisa (huge), and we did not realize this after the facts. It was amazing! We also got three empanadas (cheese, beef, and chicken), all delicious. We are planning to come back again tomorrow. We recommend it 100%.

My dog and I were very invested in trying the ropa vieja clearly! I also tried the blackberry agua Fresca. The drink was amazing, also the house salsa was delicious. I just feel like there wasn’t a ton of flavor with the dish. I don’t mean to sound harsh, I just felt like there wasn’t a broth or seasoning on the meat with any flavor. I was a little disappointed. It was a good experience though! Glad to support a veteran owned business.

Eaten here several times now, both in restaurant and pickup, and every time it’s delicious! My favorites are the chicken empanadas with the cilantro cream sauce and the California burrito. Staff has always been friendly, and the prices are great especially considering how much food you get! We will definitely be back!

Came here with my family after they were telling me how delicious the food was and they were spot on with how tasty the food was as well as how friendly the workers were. The owner and his wife treated my parents very well and it makes the atmosphere welcome. I would highly recommend people try the ACP as it was the right ratio of chicken, rice and vegetables. I will definitely go back there for seconds in the future.

When I tell you, I love this place. And the people are really honest. And the food is A1 Plus. I mean my favorite thing to get is the Carne Asada Fries. Perfect for lunch.

You can’t find Latin food just anywhere, so when you do, it’s definitely worth checking out.

I’d come again for a light bite if I’m in the area. At the house at the front was informative and able to recommend something new for my friends to try (arepas). I got shredded chicken tacos. They were pretty simple. You can’t go wrong with simple plus a tasty sauce. I ordered fried plantains as well. They looked a little overcooked but they tasted amazing. I also want to try something new: I ordered their passionfruit agua fresca. It was light and refreshing – not too sweet.

Great food from a wide range of Latin American countries served by helpful and caring people. I felt like I was in a restaurant in another country due to the atmosphere and simplicity. Order at the register then sit and soon the food is delivered. Many items on the menu I want to try so will return. Good prices.
