Went for lunch and it was amazing! The fact that they had a vegan menu section made me excited to try something new from it and I’m glad I did. I had the Veganzilla Burrito with Chorizo. It had wonderful flavor on its own, but I tried it with the house made Verde sauce and it complimented it very well. The chips and salsa are homemade and had the right amount of spice and flavor. You could taste the freshness. The staff was very friendly and facilities clean. The music/atmosphere was just right to let you enjoy lunch.

I don’t think anyone can complain about the service here.. it’s A+.. I did like the food, but if I’m going to be honest, I didn’t like that the beef wasn’t seasoned.. looking pass that though, everything else was very good.

We have been eating fajitas for a long time and have never had them served with hot tomatoes mixed with the onions and peppers. The steak and chicken fajitas that I ordered had no flavor whatsoever. My daughter ordered them also and hated them. I had to ask for some seasoning. What they gave me on the side was a plate of lettuce with a spoonful of sour cream and a jarred or squeeze guacamole (not fresh) sauce on top of that with one slice of tomato. In the first picture, that’s all tomatoes, onions and green peppers, very little meat that I pulled out.

My husband and I moved to the north Florida area six months ago. After reading the positive reviews, we decided to give Solazo a try. We found the food to be absolutely delicious. Every item was perfect. We are now once-a-week customers. Clearly, we have found our favorite Mexican restaurant in Jacksonville!

Yum! Checked out this place while visiting family. The portions are large. My husband’s burrito was enough food for two people. The street tacos are a good size so two or three are more than enough. I had two vegan tacos and they were great. They have several vegan options which aren’t just lettuce and beans. They use vegan chorizo and beyond beef. I was a big confused about the vegan chorizo because it tasted too real. The staff was so friendly and wait times for food was very reasonable. Id definitely come back.

I went in for dinner. There was only one waiter who was also the runner and bartender. I felt so bad for him as he was sweating doing all the work. I hope they aren’t usually short-staffed. The total was around $26 and I tipped him $17 because he deserved it. I will come back because the food was great and the tacos are a great price on taco tuesdays.

I had lunch here yesterday. Ordered the “mas chimicganga” lunch portion. I can’t lie… it looked TINY but wow it was VERY filling. There was a lot of chicken meat inside. Came with a small side of chips and salsa and the salsa was GREAT. The perfect tiny amount of kick and it tasted so fresh! (I can’t handle overly spicy foods.) All of that for like 9 bucks.
