Good sushi, good teriyaki. My only issue with this place is the spicy ramen. I ordered maybe about 2 years ago and it was the biggest mistake ever. It literally was just cup o’ noodles with maybe some more ingredients mixed inside. I paid I think about $12 for it. It was such poor quality that I threw half of it away. I hope they have improved since then.

Holding true to its namesake, this place is SOLID! I was pleasantly surprised to bump into an old friend who owns and operates the restaurant. Since moving back to WA, I’ve been looking for new restaurants to have on rotation. The food here is legit (I would highly recommend even if I didn’t know Tom), decor is nice (although as of June 2023 it’s take out only) and It’s a family-run business (which I love to support). I rarely feel compelled to write reviews, but supporting Solid Modern Teriyaki feels as good as their food tastes! Once you order take out from Solid, I’m sure it will be in your rotation too, I highly recommend!

The food here was tasty. I plan on eating here again. My mom got the classic teriyaki and I got 2 sushi rolls. Since they only do carry out, we had to take it back to my mom’s place before we could eat. The car ride home smelled so good because of the teriyaki. The sushi rolls were fresh and tasty and my mom really enjoyed the teriyaki

Excellent teriyaki and Korean food here at this newly renovated and updated restaurant with an expanded menue featuring new items with excellent service. Their new sandwiches are flavorful with attention to detail and flavors are rich and on proper bread! They also kept the great items that were on the menue before and bubble tea as well as well as wine as well.

Best Teriyaki around. Used to always go to Ichi teriyaki but their quality went down. Have had the teriyaki and udon from here and it’s amazing. Great portions and the udon/Yakisoba is loaded with veggies. Great place to eat.

Food was fine. I came in with a cake I had bought at the town and country. (It was my birthday and I was getting take out). I had opened it to readjust something and the guy at the counter yelled at me to close it because I wasn’t allowed to bring food from other places in. I apologized and just paid and left. Guy was a jerk for no reason.
