We really enjoyed this wonderful family owned cafe. Food is fresh and delicious, served with southern hospitality. They also have locally brewed beers and wines. We stopped on our Silver Comet bike ride. We then discovered they have a room upstairs for rent and ended up staying the evening. Overall a wonderful experience. They deserve your patronage!

We stopped for lunch while riding the bike trail. This was our best experience yet! We have ridden over the past two years sections of the Silver Comet and the Chief Ladiga rails to trails. Because of The Solid Rock Cafe this was our favorite section. The food was spectacular, the staff wonderfully friendly and the establishment immaculate. They even offer a perfect room to rent for overnight guests. It would be great if we wanted to bike for more than one day. Thank you for your hospitality.

I had the Chicken Salad Croissant w/ the baked potato salad, it was delicious. My tea was also very good, I get half sweet/half unsweetened with and it was perfect. The service was great and very friendly. I wish I had taken a picture, lol. But I was hungry and thirsty. My bill was $9.90, which for the amount of food I thought very reasonable.

WOW!! In Piedmont. What a pleasant surprise. Great atmosphere with the antique, old building upgrades. Home made copper penny laden bar. Great choice of bottle and draft beers from old standbys to local micro brewed, and popular small brewed specialty brews. Everything on menu sounds delicious and my choice wrap was amazing. Looking forward returning to enjoy everything on menu from appetizers, beer, and deserts. Well worth a drive to endure a pleased pallette, service and an owner conversation. CHEERS!!!

Excellent food, the atmosphere is friendly and vibrant. It is a cute little place that is not to be expected. Friendly down home people located right downtown Piedmont. Try the chicken salad, it is wonderful!

The food was excellent I should know I ordered three meals I eat a lot after A bike ride. And they are very close to the trail also which is great. You can tell they care what they feed you.

This past Saturday, I ordered the oyster po-boy sandwich, which was out of this world. This sandwich needs to be heard. People need to know about this heaven-in-your-mouth dish, because Piedmont is lucky to have it. Fries were awesome as always. 2 thumbs up!
