Really cool restaurant with popping flavors and many dishes to choose for. The drinks are very delicious and strong. No negatives during our dining experience here. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area. It’s within walking distance to retail shopping as well.

The food is delicious. Atmosphere, nice. Had reservations for 2, and the wait time was minimal. Maybe 5 minutes. It’s a Friday night, crowd is slightly busy. Miguel (waiter) came to our table and made a few good suggestions on what to try (food and drinks) took our order. He was very friendly as were we. Ordered an appetizer, drinks, and a meal. He brought the drinks right away. The food came out first. The waitstaff forgot the sides. Cool, no problem. However, we didn’t get the appetizer. Staff brought the appetizer. Then the sides. Miguel walked by. Walked by again. And again. Never came back to check on us. We didn’t have silverware or napkins. Had to ask other staff to assist. Drinks were bad. Had to flag down Manager to assist. She was nonchalant about the matter. Took it off the bill. When we mentioned the waiter never came back she said oh my. Asked if we wanted the bill. She took the drink off and $5 as well. Left the table. We had to ask her to come back Again, for boxes for the food. I’m disappointed with the service, and slightly confused why the waiter never returned to check on us. Manager didn’t seem too bothered with losing customers. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The food was just average. We ordered veggie options so I am not sure what the meat options are like. Our order consisted of mushroom tacos, chili rellano, and two veggie burritos. They lacked flavors according to me. Chili rellano was the best among all the items. Loved their spicy hot sauces and salsa was yummy.

Ambiance: I went on a Saturday afternoon, and it was quite busy inside, but we only waited a few minutes before being seated. There was a live performer who sounded great and surprisingly wasn’t too loud that we couldn’t hear each other speak.

Happy hour is restaurant wide, not just at the bar. I had 4 tacos for $12 and they were delicious. The chips and salsa were a nice way to start the meal. Service was fast and friendly, I just don’t know why they sat me at a table next to a crying baby in an almost completely empty restaurant. I would come back and take advantage of their happy hour next time.

Saw this place on our way to another restaurant & thought we would go here instead to check it out. Well I’m certainly glad we did!! The staff & atmosphere were on point! Very friendly & attentive. I Absolutely enjoyed my Spicy Pina Margarita! I tried the Habanero Martini as well but didn’t have the spice I was looking forward to so I stuck with the Margarita lol. As for the food. We ordered Fried Tacos Del Toro. They would have been AMAZING had they not put crema on them like I asked. I’m not a huge fan of that at all. But I still ate them all up cause they were good(except for the crema flavor lol). That’s the ONLY reason I am leaving them 3 stars for the food. It would have been Perfect had it come out how I asked. But I am not slamming them either because the other flavors were spot on. And my bf actually ate everything on his plate(which says a lot cause he is Super picky). Would I go back? Most definitely! I’ll just have to order something different this time.

I would have given Solitas TACOS & MARGARITAS more stars if it wasn’t for the rude Hostess at the entrance. I asked for a high chair for my daughter and she acted like she didn’t want to get it. Plus, the interior entrance to the patio was locked and she watched me fiddle with the door for several moments without even directing us the the (correct) outside entrance. Our server however was AWESOME. I forgot his name but he looks like the rapper Bad Bunny. He gave FIVE STAR service. He suggested some great dishes and cocktails. He was fast, professional and SUPER FRIENDLY. He even brought me out a complimentary ice cream for my birthday. Solitas is not that authentic (mom and pop) Mexican cuisine that I was hoping for, but the ambience and location make up for it. Don’t get me wrong though, the tacos are still awesome! I’ll give the tacos FIVE STARS!

Good chips, salsa, and margaritas. I ordered their fried tacos, which were just ok. Tasted my friend’s carne asada, and it was nice and tender. Another friend ordered the ribs, and they were decent. Rice and beans were no bueno. The salad was simple but tasty. Nice outing, but a bit overpriced, in my opinion, for the portion sizes.
