We started off with the garlic shrimp not going to lie it was a little bland to my liking. One of the specials today was this grilled squid. That was very tasty. Finished it off with flan for dessert. That was also very tasty. If not for the shrimp this would be a 5-star review.

The tavern is now a restaurant serving Portuguese food and I would highly recommend it. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted warmly by the owner! We ordered the paella and it was fabulous. Two others in our party ordered Portuguese steak and a pork dish. Must try.

In the hollow of Bridgeport one can find this restaurant. For those from the old neighborhood can identify the building as the old Oakview Tavern. Oh my has it changed!! The tavern is now a restaurant serving Portuguese food and I would highly recommend it. Food was delicious and tasty.
