BEST PLACE TO EAT EVER!! I am Arab and I can’t eat pork and most of their menu contains pork but they made me a new batch with shrimp and fish! Please come out here and support this family! The grandma is so cute with her husband! And their daughter is so polite and friendly!

tried this hole in the wall for the first time recently and loved the BBH! fair warning, it’s not made for the weak, but it was perfect for me. everyone eats their BBH different but if you prefer oily and spicy then it’s for you. however, we did notice that the portions are pretty small for a large and $14. we also ordered banh beo & banh bot loc, i’ve had better banh beo but the banh bot loc was good! at the end of our transaction we noticed she accidentally(?) charged us an extra $7 and noticed the lemonade was also $5. we were able to correct it but just make sure you always double check your receipts! overall, good food, but pricey and shady. this is a cash/zelle only business, the receipt was not itemized. just be careful!

The restaurant is very small hole in the wall mom and pop place from my 2 Times here but both times in a span of 15 months it’s been amazing. I read these people are from the Hue region of Vietnam so I was expecting bun bo hue soup to be authentic and was hoping it would be good as the first time.

I am from Hue(born and raised there) so I know Hue’s food. They ran out of banh nam & banh loc (boo…) but I got to try banh beo and bun bo. Both are pretty good. Easily the best authentic bun bo in town. I will come back to try other dishes.

This is the best Banh Beo restaurant I have been to in the US. And I used to live in SoCal, so I got a high bar. The “Banh Loc” shrimp steam cake is also top notch, such soft and dreamy texture with fresh shrimps. My favorite part is they don’t leave the shrimp shells in the cake like most places because I hate getting the shells stuck in my teeth and it also hurts to chew. Here I don’t have that problem! The crushed shrimp is also amazing on the Banh Beo. Their fish sauce is so good you can drink it (I did, and more). You know a restaurant is authentic when there’s a grandma splitting beans in the back and a random ATM machine in the corner. The outside is very unassuming. But don’t be fooled. There’s a paradise of great food awaiting you inside.

I second the motion on the Bun Bo Hue! It is very very good. The place is tiny though and doubles as a pool room so be prepared for a full Vietnamese experience. There is no salt and pepper on the table. While I’m sure you could get a fork is you asked for one, they don’t set you up with one.
