Learn how to treat people! I just left your establishment on Spring Garden Street and encountered one of the rudest employees I’ve ever seen at this location. I come through every week to get a bag of ice to take home and this particular week I used my prepaid card that I use for Internet purchases to purchase my bag of ice which required me to pay the cashier some change in order to use this card. The money has been sitting on this card for quite some time and all I wanted to do was clear the balance off, so it wasn’t sitting there any longer. The cashier helping me was very nice although she did not know how to do the split payment so she had to ask somebody else. The young man that helped her, however, was not kind at all and laughed when she told him that I was paying some change towards my balance, so that I could use this card. First of all that response was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. I made a comment loud enough for him to hear me say what my intent for using the card was and regardless, you don’t know a persons situation and that is absolutely unacceptable to treat any human being like that. I contacted the corporate office and made a complaint and I will never be back to this location again I will gladly take my weekly business elsewhere. Do better!

This sonic is by far the worse I’ve had. The staff has terrible customer service. The quality of the food is poor even for fast food standard. I’ve been to this location a few times and every single time my order has been messed up or items left out. This last time, really frustrated me. I called to inform Dawn (apart of management) that my order was messed up. He offered to remake the order. He did not give me no problems. I get to the drive thru window and Mandy (his supervisor) refused to give me the remade order because I did not bring the original order back. I was not informed by Dawn of this policy before driving back up there (she suggested to go back home to get the food they were going to throw away anyways and bring it back) it really shouldn’t have been a big deal since they messed up in the first place. We paid again for mistake they made. If you looking for food options within the vicinity of Spring Garden you are better going to the surrounding restaurants.

We go get dinner and sit on the porch, enjoying the world flowing by. The food is standard Sonic fare, cheeseburgers, tots, chili cheese fries, the slushes are really good. Download the app and place an order during happy hour, and you get half price on the Rte 44 sized drink. It is nice, it is older, and has a great deal of traffic in and out due to the location near UNCG. Great atmosphere, people having fun, having dinner, hanging out – just a great summer atmosphere, as close to the beach atmosphere as you can get this far inland.

I ordered a medium onion ring and a medium cherry limeade. The few onion rings I got were a soggy, greasy mess (all smashed together and falling apart) and my drink tasted like straight syrup with no fizz. I’m not sure what happened, but I’m very disappointed in what I received at this location.

Today was the 3rd time I’ve had a bad experience at this location! I had to repeat myself several times before it was gotten right and it was only 2 of the same meals the only difference being drink size and sauce type. Then I was told my order was $12.21.64!!!! I can’t make this up. At the window of course I was greeted with a smile, a hello or anything just handed drinks and correct total given. When i was handed the food opened the box to dark dry looking tenders and lukewarm tater tots. The young lady looked at me like I was foreign when I questioned why I was given old food. I pulled up to the #1 to await fresh food. About 5 min later a man exits the building walks over and hands me food. No hello. No sorry for the wait, nothing just walked away! I pull off, open both boxes at the light, same dry dark tenders but now steaming hot so microwaved or refried maybe… and same old tots! I broke some before giving the box back so I’m 100% certain they were the same tots. I bit one of the tenders, hot, dry and chewy like chicken flavored plastic! My cheese tots had brown mushy specs of something on them (im hoping burger fragments, see pictures). I didn’t eat them!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

They gave me the worst burger I have ate in my entire life. The bread was falling apart, the Pattie’s were as cold as it could get and burnt . I took one bite and couldn’t eat anymore the taste was atrocious. They also got my order wrong I ordered a single burger and got a double. Ive had sonic a few times and the burger was great! This burger was absolutely terrible though I can’t believe they would even serve this to a customer
