I got there waited 15 minute for someone to answer the button several other customer were sitting on picnic table asking if they answered. I pushing the button finally someone ask for my order I explain I had been sitting there for 15 minutes she said sorry then ask for my order I gave my order she ask me to repeat I spoken louder she said to stop hollering and I explained I wasn’t she disconnected our connection and I left. Never will return. The is the second bad service I had this week at Newton Sonic.

Then when they brought out my sonic blast they said they were out of spoons. How the hell you expect me to eat this mess. Seems like something you would mention at the start of the transaction.

The girl taking the order was very disrespectful from the start. She would get even more of an attitude when she was POLITELY corrected after messing the order up TWICE. When she hands us the food she knowingly drops our straws on & ignores us and walks away when we ask for more straws. My husbands cherry limeade tasted terrible, like straight up Alka seltzer or something. Horrible service & drinks. I’m not wasting any more money here.

We sat outside for 21 minutes, just for our order to come out wrong, we added another three minutes on top of that for them to bring back out a watered down, Coke Zero. Service was terrible. The employees sat inside talking amongst each other; we saw 5 total, 2 were working and it was mainly one girl running orders when they did do something. Tots came in our order instead of fries 0/10 worst experience at this sonic ever. Definitely go to forest if you’re trying to have sonic!!! Several people drove off while we were waiting bc they never got their food.

Sonic has gone down the drain over the last few years. This morning I only had a simple question and have been calling for 20 minutes now (9a.m.) and still no answer. Last few times I’ve been there they took well over 30 minutes for our order to come out and that’s after it took super long for them to take our order, my boyfriend had to step out the truck to go to the booth beside us and try and order since we thought it was another broken stall we were trying to order from. The kids (young adults) on the inside were chatting amongst one another and only 2 ppl were bringing out orders. It’s been 10 years since I’ve worked at this store in Newton and I now travel 20 minutes to Forest just for better service and wait time. Do yourself a favor save your money and gas up because this one will make your blood boil just by the experience. The owner should knock it down and the city of Newton should find better use of this space.
