I am so sorry to say this sonic is the worst sonic I’ve ever been to. I live in Bolingbrook next to the mall and yet I travel to Romeoville because I love sonic over everything else we have here Oberweis, Andy’s custard and culver’s. almost every time I come here they are either out of ice cream or Reeces peanut butter cup or snickers. they are not the best at being friendly. The food is mediocre at best. They obviously don’t know how to order enough inventory if they are always out!

This location says it’s open 10 am – 10 pm. I placed an order ahead on the app at 6:45, got there at 6:50, and checked in. We waited about 15 min, nothing. The screen said my order was being prepared and it would be out shortly. The screen then displayed that our order was on its way out, nothing. I called in, and the worker said they were closed. I said that we were waiting for a while and that our food wasn’t brought out. She gave me attitude and said we never said we would take your order out and cut the speaker. I rang again and she said we’re closed, I explained again and she said we can’t help you here. She didn’t offer any other solution, no refund, no apology. Absolutely ridiculous

we came here after my son’s basketball tournament. we ordered on the app to get half off slushies. things were forgotten and it took very long. but i give 5 stars because the manager came out, apologized, and made things right. fast food places only run as good as their manager and the manager here knew what she was doing and was lovely.

We were eager to try Sonic restaurant. We were highly disappointed. We went there on 5.6.23 around 4.45pm. There were no cars waiting but still the guy who took our order in drive through was rushing to take order and when we received we missed 1 of our order ( 1 large jumbo popcorn chicken,1 small fries and 1 diet coke ). They packed all the orders in one bag except our onion rings and 1 large fries so it was hard to figure out what we were missing. Finally ended up sharing our food.

It took over 25 mins to get drinks and an order each of fries and tots, we finally got them and they’re already cold and my guess is hours old. The drinks were all covered in syrups, and the drink carrier was dripping it was so soaking wet with a sticky mess. My first visit to this location and will certainly not be back, not that the employees care one bit. Please save your money and time and go elsewhere.

The quality of most of the food items I ordered was poor. My honey bbq popcorn chicken had barely any sauce on them (the picture on the menu shows them completely covered). I give them 3 stars however because the slush was very good and so were the jalapeño poppers.

The food is ok, nothing fancy. The drinks though, out of this world. A Dr. Pepper with blue ocean water and cherries is mind-blowing. Or a grape slushy with needs and extra grape is ridiculously good. Go now, you’re thirsty. Thank me later!

First time at this sonics drive in and the service was real good and food was all made correctly we spent about 30 bucks for 2 meals, sides,shake : Ft long chicago style, cheese steak was delicious, cheddar peppers were super hot, fresh beware that they don’t explode when when you bite into them the cheese may burn you. medium master shake oreo vanilla, tots, pretzel twist, blue berry slushy and peach slushy. Be sure to tip your car server!
