Twice lately I have ordered onion rings on the app and they either sent me nothing in my bags , Or came out to the car and told me they had zero onion rings can we substitute with fries. The first time i said the onion rings cost more. They said we will give you fries and refund onion rings. They did not refund. The second time we went back saying we didn’t get our onion rings. They stated they have none Giving me tots which are 1.50 cheaper. There has been other instances of poor food as well. I have taken pictures of various things. We love Sonic. Just not this one. To many problems, To many times . And I’m pretty sure the honey BBQ chicken isn’t supposed to be fried with a little sauce squirted on. Five different people tasted snd said gross. It’s just always something.

Pulled in and pushed the button . Sat for 20 minutes. Thought the speaker was broken. Got out of the car and went to the speaker next to me . It appeared to be broken. Step inside and asked the employee if 19 was working. He said yeah and he would answer it. Went back to vehicle and sat there but no response. There were only 4 cars plus us. We just left. It was very surprising to us because that isn’t usually how sonics conduct business.

I always want to believe this place has its act together, but they never seem to. After waiting for 25 minutes for 4 drinks and a hot dog, the carhop tells us sorry he’s the only one there. Maybe they should have let us know that when we ordered so we could decide if we wanted to sit there and wait. We saw so many people pull in and leave because they couldn’t even place an order. Such a bummer because we love sonic!

Why is it so often lately that we order in the app, check in when we get there and then have to wait 30 minutes for drinks only? It shows on the screen that it is in the kitchen and then it shows a car hood name on the screen and says they are bringing it out. Today, 15 minutes after that I was on the red button for the 2nd time asking what happened. I finally stopped the car hop and asked why at least 4 other cars pulled in after I did and they had their drinks. We finally got ours! This happens often lately. We stop there about 3 times a day for drinks.

If you want your food to be correct, DONT COME TO THIS SONIC. And this isn’t just a one time complaint. I’m local, and the last couple months everytime I order my order is wrong. Got a Bacon Cheeseburger tonight with Ketchup and lettuce ONLY. Got home to a burger SMOTHERED in Mayo. Again this isn’t the first time this has happened. Do better…for real.

I don’t think I’ve ever come to this Sonic and not had an issue. Either wait times are 30+ minutes or they’re out of something like hot dogs. The gentleman next to me made a very valid request that he could get a foot-long for the price of a regular since they were out and they told him they couldn’t do that for him. Very bad customer service.

They will let you order your food, then bring it to you, and when you get it, they say nothing about items missing from your order. We were missing items we paid for, and when we brought it to their attention, they told us they were out of what you ordered. They will not even tell you, and then they will make you wait for over an hour in the parking lot. For your missing items, they have to be substituted; seriously? Over an hour now the other food is disgusting and gross They need a new GM. They used to be the best Sonic, never going back. It’s a nightmare. Just go to Blue Springs or Oak Grove.

Today was the second time in 2 weeks to order food wait 30 minutes and never get my order. FYI use cash to pay so you can leave when you don’t get your order. Oh and there were maybe 4 cars there.
