I’ve had 3 recent experiences in the last month with this Sonic after moving to Kearney last year. The first, I ordered 5 shakes and sat there and waited 35 minutes before asking them what is up. They said they thought I drove off… so they bring me my drinks, the payment wasn’t taken, so I had to wait on her to take my card back to the building as well. Second experience I went through the drive through, no longer trusting the stalls. I got a drink and cheese balls, both were wrong sizes for some reason. I didn’t complain, the drink was great but small, and I came back for another one tonight. I waited in the drive through for 25 minutes, with a line building up behind me… and gave up and won’t go back. The second I pulled away she took the next lady’s order, and by the time I got around the block the lady was driving off. With 3/3 visits having major issues, none of which getting my proper order and 2/3 of them taking insane amounts of time just for drinks, I will not be back. I have a coupon for free food that I can’t use, because I can’t get any service, and I acquired it because I couldn’t get any service. What a joke.

Ordered chicken tender meal. Chicken tasted left over, dry and tough. Asked for sauce had to ask again. Gave me tator tots instead of onion rings. Not a great experience.

We mainly use the app for ordering and have had orders come out incomplete or incorrect. Not sure if it’s the staff or the app tho. They seem to like to fill your drink cup to the top with ice unless you request for them to go easy on the ice. But even then your drink is still gonna be 3/4 ice. Pretty irritating.

I always use the drive thru when I go here. The parking spaces are small and are almost always full, which is great but it can make getting and getting out difficult. The food is always fresh and hot though, at least in my experience, and it’s the best fast food place to eat in Kearney.

Watch your bank account. Charged for 2 transactions – knew something was odd when I got a “cash receipt” instead of a credit receipt when I paid with my card in the drive thru.

The only reason I stopped here was to pick up my favorite food from Sonic( Chicago Dog). And this Sonic doesn’t sell them. It’s wasn’t the end of the world and I moved on. But the food that I did end up ordering wasn’t hot and fresh and was just not good.
