The food here is not up to Sonic’s standards. The fries are always just warm and stale, and the burgers are acceptable, but not terrific. The Sonic in Centralia, MO is miles better than this. If the employees must smoke, please don’t do it just outside the door, go out back. Instead of apologizing to all the bad reviews do something!

Avoid this location. I ordered in the app for pickup ASAP. Checked in at the stall, waited over 20 min- the screen at the stall said my order was on the way. Nothing came. So I hit the call button to ask where my order is..they asked my twice what I ordered. 42 min and STILL waiting. I understand being busy, but losing an order is unacceptable. The young man who brought it out was very kind and apologetic.

Was at Sonic for nearly an hour. Parked at Stall 5, pressed for service 4 different times during a 20 minute wait, never got a response. Moved to stall 6 and pressed for service and had about a 10 minute wait, during which another car pulled into stall 5 and was apparently able to order. I only wanted 2 sonic blasts, paid for them, and waited for another 20 minutes. Got out of my car and was waiting on the curb cause I wasn’t letting my car run for that long and I was getting hot. At least 5 cars came and went during my entire wait. A carhop noticed me and was finally able to get my order. The sir who took my order did not sound like he was having a good day, but that is no reason to ignore paying customers.

Half of the cheese on grandsons cheeseburger was melted on the wrapper, not the burger, my pork tenderloin had no flavor at all. Tots tasted like old grease. My grandson got a cookies n cream blast and that was the best out of everything.

The last 2 times we have been there no one answered the speaker. Finally we pulled around to the driveway thru window and 4 employees were working. One was on their phone. They never acknowledged me except to snicker over their shoulder. I can’t rate anything. This used to be the best Sonic in town. Can’t get help worth their salt anymore. I won’t be going back!

Was just wanting the summer edition Red Bull slush. Tried drive thru, no answer, drive to window, someone looked to be impatiently waiting. So pulled into a stall. Placed my order, was sure to mention “Summer Edition” when they brought it to me was just Regular Red Bull. He did seem rushed and talked over me some while ordering. And they were by no means busy, Besides the person at the drive thru and I there was one other vehicle and then one pulled up after I ordered.

this is the worst sonic in columbia… or anywhere i’m sure. they are SO slow & don’t know how to answer in the drive thru. there have been several occasions when i’ve ordered online & have had to wait for 30 minutes or longer after getting to this sonic to get my order. something needs to change because this is absolutely ridiculous. they aren’t even worth 1 star.
