Went through the Drive Thrue and it took me forever to get to the window when there was only 2 cars in front of me. It was excessive to say the least. About 15 minutes. Then when I get to the window they don’t open it for another couple of minutes. The food was ok and the Lime-aid was great. The onion rings were not very tasty because of the oil they used to cook in probably. Nasty aftertaste.

I am usually a fan of Sonic, but today was very disappointing. My wife’s crispy chicken sandwich was just the opposite of crispy and was cold and stale just like her tots. My burger was good, but had a side of pretzel and corn dog and both were also old and stale.

Stay away from this sonic. Not only do they take your card and disappear for 15 mins from the drive through window. Their customer service is straight garbage. Went for coffee this morning said they could process my payment. Funny went straight to Starbucks and they had not a single problem. In the 8 years I’ve been living in lake dallas this sonic has gone way down hill. As for me and my family we will never return.

Ordered 2×5 piece tender dinners. Always been great. Order online. Today husband got there and they go oh what order. He told then and said wait. They did not see order . so he had to wait. Got home gravy was thin as water. The hash browns no brown white cold not eatable the toast burnt. Chicken soft cold gooey. Really.

Lake Dallas location has been sad lately. First a very rude order taker first time there.ive been a server for 24 years now… honestly love the pure genuine hearts of humans. And they really made me feel stupid for going there… second time ..maybe kids joking….but took order for a simple water…then five minutes later…. asked for my order again …waited another ten min for a water…and no they were not busy…I’m not a Karen… But dayum….really…I left without my wanted purchase. I literally drove ten min to another sonic for a water… Just cause ..wow…lake Dallas …just sad

Placed a mobile order this morning at 8 o’clock using the app. Got to the Sonic and checked in. After 15 minutes tried calling but no answer. Had pressed the red button but there was no response. The music was playing tried the door but it was locked. I am surprised that the app allows you to place an order with out an employee being clocked in to work? Seems that the app had not updated that the location was opening at 10 o’clock. Stopped by later and they offered to refund or give me a credit but I chose to let them fill the order. I’m really glad to see this location rebuild it’s employee base in spite of the pandemic.

Service is usually poor. Sometimes the wait time is too long. Sometimes the order is wrong. Sometimes the food isnt cooked properly. Occasionally the order is wrong after waiting too long AND the food isnt cooked properly. Today my wife ordered sausage egg and cheese toaster and cinnasnacks. The wait wasnt bad but she received a “toaster” with two untoasted pieces of bread, an inch thick pile of eggs and overcooked crunchy sausage. Instead of cinnasnacks, she got tots. Unfortunately this is my new norm for fast food service. Chick-fil-A seems to be the only place that consistently delivers good service. Whats up?
