This is a good review for the Sonic by the Texas Motor Speedway- NOT the Roanoke one on Hwy 377. The Roanoke store turned off their app and wouldn’t honor their half price drinks like usual. We drove to the Speedway one where they don’t turn off their app. Got some Buffalo Chicken Bites. They are so good. Third time we’ve had them this week. Also got a Big Red with sweet cream and a Diet Cherry Limeade with Mango Good stuff.

The worst service ever. My 5 year old granddaughter could have taken a better order. I punched the button and said I want an egg and cheese burrito with tater tots inside the burrito and a kids pack chicken strips for my dog. No meat on the burrito. She said what sauce do you want? I said no sauce with the strips because they are for my dog. It goes totally silent for 4 minutes. I said hello? She said hang on a minute. I wait another 4-5 minutes. I said HELLO?!?! She said okay that will be $15.68. I said WHAT? That can’t be right for what I ordered. The sun was shining on the screen so I couldn’t see it so pulled up and managed to see some of the screen and she had a side order of TWO meat Patties and three sauces with the strips. I said oh I see why its $15 you have two meat Pattie’s. I DO NOT WANT ANY MEAT TO ITH THE BURRITO. at that point it he manager or a person that sounded over the age of three came in and said “ma’am if you want a side hot dog you have to pay for it”!!! I said oh my gosh. Forget it I will go to another sonic. I drove away. Whoever owns this sonic (they are franchised) needs to get better help or this sonic will not make it. Good grief. It’s not rocket science!!

Yesterday,I had placed an order,and waiting a long time for the food. My food was cold and disgusting. The bill was 17 dollars for cold nasty food. What made it so bad,the lady didn’t have any front teeth in her mouth. She should have known better to given me cold food as a former food service myself. Sonic food is good food. They just have lazy nasty workers there.

Terrible experience. Older lady was super rude and kept talking to me like I was one of here grand kids. I told her that I didnt understand what she was asking me and I asked if I could speak with someone else. She then walked to my vehicle and just stared at me for a good 5 seconds before I asked what she needed from me. Unreal. Also, she reaked like weed.

Four of us traveling from out of town. Stopped to eat at this location. Ordered at the stall and waited 25 minutes for half of our food. 10 minutes later the rest of our order was delivered. Nothing we ordered was correct. SAVE YOUR MONEY & TIME! Find somewhere else to eat.

Went there today. Not sure if the intercom works properly, but the guy taking my order was so quiet i could barely hear him, and i had to repeat myself over 5 times. Then the guy comes out and theres blue slush dripping all over the cup didnt even give me napkins, the food was turned upside down in the bag so everything was all scattered together. The food was 2 stars. I know its fast food… but chicken was dried out and over cooked and fries were soggy as hell. I ordered a cherry limeade, and the lime was so over powering- i threw the drink away. I guess the oreo blast was alright… but i paid over $20 for food that was awful. The poor guy bringing the food looked like he would much rather be doing anything else, and spoke so quietly and mumbled i couldn’t understand a word he was saying. I RARELY write bad reviews, but this is the last straw with this location. I have a 3 strike rule.

The food was terrible. They put one onion ring for my Crispy Tender meal that was so old and hard I thought maybe it came off the floor. The person that brought my food out didn’t say one syllable. Made us feel unwelcome, like we shouldn’t be there and this was at 3:30PM. I will never return, hopefully a different restaurant will soon be there, this place is terrible.

I had just driven over an hr was tired, thought I could pull in & get something quick, take it home. (1 minute away) I did not know this place had a drive thru. I placed my order, honey bbq chicken tots, fries & drink. I noticed people would pull up beside me in a minute back up and go around to a get in line. Only 2 vehicles was on the side I was on.

We tried to order on the app for half price drinks, but the app wasn’t letting us. It said it was down. We told the girl what we were trying to do and what the issue was. She said, “yeah, the app is down”. We asked if they could honor the half price since they had it advertised on their screen. She said, “you can only do half price in the app”. (We could have gone round and round with this). We asked to speak with a manager to get half price. Not sure what she said, but they certainly weren’t willing to help us. I guess horrible customer service is the norm these days…?

They messed up my order completely and I generally come to this Sonic when I get off at 10:00 p.m. for me and my husband they first tell me that they don’t have the cold brew and then after paying they tell me that they are not making breakfast when they serve it all day. They completely forgot half of my food.
