At drive in slot #22, I pushed the button to order and this happened: We hear the activity in the kitchen for awhile, then an unhappy voice asks what we want….like in the voice of Eyore in Winnie the Pooh. Rude and annoyed that they had to answer. Fast food work is hard. Being rude is not ok. I was going to order a ton, and took my business elsewhere.

The past few months whenever I have gone to this Sonic they have actually been open and polite and on top of things for the most part, so I felt I needed to update their star rating and acknowledge their changes. There is one young man and I think he is actually management, who clearly doesn’t like to fill bags of ice because he gets short and snarky after hearing my order but the rest of the kids make up for his attitude with their positive behavior.

Former Sonic roller-skating carhop here. It’s been almost 20 years but it’s still the same old Sonic, right? Nope. I was impressed with the digital touch screens. I don’t know if this is every Sonic now as it’s been a good decade since I’ve visited this franchise. It is nice to slide your card at the station as opposed to someone running off with it like the old days. But that was the only improvement I can note.
