Checked out Sonny’s because I love Korean food and this did not disappoint. Five stars for sure. I ordered the Korean Pork over noodles salad. It was amazingly good. Everything was so fresh and had just right amount of spiciness for me. Flavor was right on the mark. Will be going back often to try the other Korean dishes. The staff was so nice and the place itself is spotless.

We split the pork burger and an order of BBQ Spring rolls. Delicious and filling and wonderfully spicy! Prompt service and gracious explanations at the counter. A smile and nod from the chef who could be seen cooking in the background.

Definitely 5 stars! Today I checked out Sonny’s Asian Grinders & More in Southbury, in the plaza across from Shop Rite/ Home Goods on Main St. South. I got the Korean BBQ Pork Noodle Salad. Grilled marinated pork, rice noodles, mixed greens, avocado, cucumber, cilantro, pickled carrots, & onions with wasabi yuzu dressing. Everything was fresh and done to perfection. I often don’t eat out because my stomach gets upset if high quality ingredients aren’t used. I’m happy to report that all day I felt great. I highly recommend this place and wish Sonny a lot of success! If you’re in the area, be sure to check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

This place is just the best. Do yourself a favor and go- I order from here whenever I am in town, everything is delicious. I did not expect this to become one of my favorite places to go, but it is just solid every single time, reasonably priced, good portions. I also never leave google reviews- but this spot deserves it.

When I worked in Southbury, sonnys was a multiple times a week lunch spot. Now that we’ve moved to Southport, I have to wait for the weekend to get my sonnys fix, but it’s well worth the wait.
