Food was okay. Average “fast food” BBQ. Service was awesome! Friendly staff. I don’t know if I would go back there for the food or it be on the top of my list for authentic BBQ. Not bad, not great. Best part of the meal was fried okra. I’m a former Texan so maybe I need to be realistic about expectations.

Service was exceptional. Got us everything we needed and checked on us many times during our stay. Will day that something is off about the food these days, not sure I and my family will be back. The last few times we have been her, there is something that didn’t sit quite well, and caused us some stomach issues. Personally I usually don’t have issues like that, but this place definitely made me have some. Good luck if you choose here.

The food is still good, but I don’t care for the new remodel job, and the fact that they did away with their salad bar. Seems like their prices have sky-rocketed, compared to other restaurants. The atmosphere is not as cozy and welcoming as the old restaurant. If it ain’t broke .. don’t fix it!

We had a great waiter “Luke” – he was very fast delivering our beverages before dinner and gave us ample time allowing us time to decide on our dinner choices. The little lady had the pulled-pork and I had the baby back ribs – our sides were baked beans, coleslaw and garlic toast. Hats off to the Chef! The food arrived piping hot and delicious. My Yuengling Beer was ice cold and came with a chilled glass each time! When it comes to BBQ, Sonny’s is our choice!

My wife and I went here for lunch today and both got the “Baby Back Ribs, Cole Slaw and BBQ Beans. Of course we each only ate half so leftovers! Hooray! Our waiter was Andrew and he was fast and attentive.

This BBQ place ticks all the boxes for me! Tastes amazing, great service and reasonable prices! I always make sure I stop by when I visit family. The pulled pork is superb and the wait staff were super helpful and courteous! I also love the sauces and make sure that I can buy extra when I’m in the area!
