Food is simply delicious and so affordable. Sonny’s is a BYOB spot. Yes, their specialty is hot dogs which you can get cooked your way: grilled, boiled or fried by the way, but they have so much more. Their fried fish sandwich was amazing! This place is simply a hidden gem in Belmar.

Nice selection of burgers in a nice homey atmosphere which was a surprise since it’s in a little strip mall. BYOB and there’s a good beer/liquor store right across from it. Homemade chili was really good.

Sure, the server can be late when there are a lot of people. But as a man who did not know so much about burger, this burger made me realize what is a good burger. Interesting spot, they have unique hot dogs with fun toppings and a lot of burger options. We got the fried pickles to start, which were good but would have preferred a horseradish dipping sauce instead of cheese. I got the Johnny dog (it had chili, nacho cheese, and doritos). Felt terrible for my body, but tasted good. Partner got the Al Capone chicken sandwich which was tasty and the side of fries were crispy and delicious. The decor inside is unique with a lot to look at. BYOB place if you’re interested in that. Service was a bit slow.

Love the classic Americana decor which leans toward celebrities of decades passed in music, Hollywood and politics. Great food. Loved the burgers and hot dogs. If you are a hot dog connoisseur, this is your place. Service is wonderful too!
