We had the “jersey” sausage. It was amazing. Seasoned just right. Bread was fresh and did not get soggy. The cannoli(?) were fantastic. I can’t wait to go back and try something else on the menu.

The food here is delicious and by far the best Italian subs and cheesesteaks you’ll find in the area. They are not overpriced like a nearby franchised competitor, Cap…’s. The Italian treats and sodas available are an extra added bonus that makes it even more worthwhile to stop in.

For our first time eating at Sonny’s we had a cheesesteak and chicken finger and French fries. The cheese steak was okay. The meat had good flavor but not enough cheese or ketchup 6/10 The chicken and fries were pretty good 5/10, and everyone loved the mini cannoli 8/10.. Next time we’ll try cold sandwiches.

We went to a show at the Elkton Music Hall. There was literally no where open to eat. We walked around. Nothing. Saw Sonny’s, but there was a vagrant woman sitting in front screaming all kinds of obscenities so we decided not to go. She was really loud and rated X stuff coming out of her mouth. We walked to the place across the street, but I couldn’t tell if it was a pizza or taco place. We ended up going back to Sonny’s and the woman outside was gone.

I think at this point I have tried almost everything on their menu and have enjoyed every single thing! The staff is superbly welcoming and friendly and the whole place reminds of the small delis I’d go to with my grandparents up in Jersey. The rolls they use are perfect, the Nikolai Cutlet and the Hot Italian are my favorites, go give them a try today!

Amazing people and atmosphere. I’ve gone there multiple times (mostly for ice cream lol) and everyone is so friendly and amazing. The food is amazing as well. My son loves going in there and playing with their sons. Will definitely recommend to everyone I can.
