I love this little place. Their prices might seem a bit high at first glance, seeing as they have owned this place for YEARS and are across the way from EB, but their quality and the taste is unparalleled in any deli. Their soups, salads are excellent as well. The staff are friendly, (they actually missed us when we stopped going for awhile.) and the place is clean and clean in the prep area. My friend is a frequent flyer at Sonny’s. She has been singing their praises for years. Today she brought me a Genoa grinder from there. The first thing I noticed was how really fresh the ingredients were! The tomato slices were ripe and juicy, the lettuce very crisp. It is made without fanfare, just really good simple ingredients. It’s quality. The bread alone is worth the price. I will certainly make this my go- to place for grinders. I understand they also sell a variety of other items like salads. I just had to weigh in, these people deserve a good shout out. Outstanding!

Excellent service and great food at a good price! I always prefer small businesses over the big chains but often at the sacrifice of time. Fortunately that was not the case here! It was surprisingly fast and everything was perfect! Love the crispy bread too, it really makes the difference.
