Good spot to grab some beers, margaritas, and food. The esquitas corn appetizer is off the charts and a must have if you go. The drinks a great, as was all of the dishes we had. Open kitchen to watch everything get prepared fresh. Cool vibe in the inside dining area, or bar area, as well as outside seating. Service was good and made sure we had everything we needed.

We were in the area for a conference for the week and this was the first place we stopped at for lunch after we checked into our hotel. Our amazing server, Virgina told us all about the things to do and eat in the area. Also that they had taco Tuesdays. $3 tacos!?! Say no more. We went back on Tuesday, and again on Thursday. Everything we had from here was delicious. The chorizo beans come with homemade tortillas was super filling and delicious. The chimichangas with pork pastor comes with a savory consommé. The pan seared chimichanga with flavorful and tender pork has a little kick. Paired with the sauces and fresh ingredients was the perfect harmony. I didn’t expect the tacos on taco Tuesday to be as filling as they were. I got mine with the homemade flour tortillas. They didn’t skimp on the ingredients! The Baja fish taco had a lightly battered mahi that paired well with the crunchiness and freshness of the cabbage and sauce. The chicken tinga was an explosion of flavors with a healthy size serving of tender shredded chicken. The beef brisket was savory and tender. The mushroom burrito was super filling with well seasoned mushrooms and potatoes paired with a delicious tomato like sauce that has a slight kick. It tasted even better then I added the super hot sauce on it. Don’t forget to ask for the hot sauce!! Overall if we ever came back to Minneapolis, this would be a must to eat at again.

Currently on 5nt stay in downtown Minneapolis and this was our best meal! My son lost his mind over the tacos, brisket and carne asada.. Best tacos he has ever had. I got the Sonora bowl and was also blow away with the flavors and amazing pork carnitas. Also the Mexican honey ale was fantastic.. Everything was soo good we’re looking forward to stopping here again before end of our trip.

I had the skirt steak tacos , put some lime juice on them while my fiancé had the breakfast burrito. They both were amazing. The handmade flour tortillas above all else should rock your socks off even if you’re iffy on great original Mexican food. Aracelis was our server and she was friendly, and a great conversationalist. Recommend for anyone wanting some authentic food from authentic people.

Very tasty, fresh food and a nice atmosphere. It was a bit sketchy neighborhood, but the restaurant was good! Street parking was available.

My husband and I stumbled upon this place after walking through the sculpture garden and Loring Park, so we had no idea what to expect. I’m sort of picky, especially about Mexican food (I’m from Texas!), but OMG. Everything was so delicious. We got the queso with mushrooms added for our appetizer (sounds weird I know but don’t knock it til you try it). AMAZING. Husband got the pincho with beef and chicken and loved it. My fish taco was also perfect. Regarding drinks, I loved how fresh the margarita was and they had a good N/A craft beer for him. Service was friendly and quick as well. We will definitely be back♥️.

The food was good and the drinks were even better . It’s a unique fine dining Mexican restaurant, the menu is small which is always a good sign to me, it means they focus on what they do best vs having too many options that are just ok. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was they did not inform us the bill already included the gratuity , which for a small table of 4 I did not expect gratuity to be added usually I expect it if we’re a large group. Other than that it was a good experience with delicious food.

Amazing food. Service was awesome, they kept my water glass full at all times. Music was a smidge loud. I am excited for my leftovers.
