Camera roll photo dump of probably only 5% of the food I’ve had at Sor Ynez. Suffice to say, I’m a regular here. First off, the staff are so lovely. It’s always a great sign when you see the same staff month after month – they seem to genuinely enjoy working there. And the food – so unique and delicious. Whether you go for brunch, dinner, or happy hour, every dish is so thoughtful. They have specials frequently which are always fun to try, and they rotate the menu seasonally. The patio is dog friendly in the warm weather and they sometimes have live music there, which makes a great atmosphere.

Great place to hang out with a group of friends. The hostess was very nice and made me and my family feel welcomed. The food was authentic and delicious. I would revisit to check out their happy hour because their drinks were worth it

The reviews are high here, but there were food options that we got that completely missed the mark. Either lacking flavor or tasting like it was pulled straight from the earth, authentic, possibly, desirable, I’m unsure. It’s a nice atmosphere, drinks are nice, might possibly try other options. We got Tlacoyos, queso fresco, shrimp crevice, heritage pork carnitas platter, and strawberry shortcake for desert.

Amazing Mexican food, Great cocktails and great attention to details, also, killer Happy Hour deals. Handmade tortillas, great mezcal and tequila menus, margarirasmade with fresh lime juice and different rims. This place is definitely a 10/10 in service, food and around experience.

This place was really just ok. The shrimp tostada tasted super sour and the shrimp didn’t taste fresh. The tacos looked good but the flavor just didn’t hit. Not super flavorful/forgettable. While we were there for happy hour and didn’t pay astronomical prices, I was pretty disappointed with the food.

I want to start off by saying that the staff is so so lovely. This review is based off of the food only and drinks only. As for the food starting off with a $16 dollop of mediocre guac wasn’t the greatest impression. The grilled watermelon salad was far more exciting sounding than it tasted. The happy hour tacos were just okay, the chicken had a little aftertaste. And the margaritas were simple. The quesadilla was the best thing on the menu but it’s hard to screw that up. All in all to summarize, extremely underwhelming and would not return since we unfortunately didn’t enjoy the food.
