Wow! I’m from out of town visiting Pisgah Forest and was not expecting to find this gem of a Japanese restaurant. I came here for lunch and the sushi was excellent! Pictured here are two spicy tuna rolls and one Philadelphia roll, as well as the miso soup and salad that comes with. I’d highly recommend checking this place out!

One of the best all – around restaurants in the Brevard area. The food is spectacular, and the atmosphere is always lively. If there is an excessive wait time, it is totally worth it. Truly, it is the best sushi I have had this far inland. Their carry out orders are just as good.

I rarely eat Japanese so I don’t feel qualified to rate it extremely high or low. I liked it, the ingredients and preparation were excellent. It tasted good to me, but I am not certain what it (massaman curry) is supposed to taste like and know people are very specific with their tastes on food like this.

Had the sushi boat for two – everything was really good. The salmon melted in my mouth. Kelly was a great waitress, the house Chardonnay was good; be sure and call ahead to get on the wait list – very crowded, even early on a Saturday night! Worth the wait.

I am so upset. I called ahead to reserve a table and was told that I had to have 5 in my party. There was just 3. Ok. No problem. We get there to sign in and the host says that it will be 10 min…30 min later and several people were seated before us. And when I asked why we still hadn’t been seated he states that they called ahead and reserved a table. Two parties only had 3 people! We just walked out. He was so rude.

IMO this place takes the cake as the best Japanese restaurant in the area. Their establishment is quick and efficient at taking your order and getting your food to you. Their service is great and their food is delicious. More importantly to me however is that their prices are great. You could feed a small African village with the $13 bento box they have here. I couldn’t justify going this place anything less than 5*.
